Dear Diary,
Mom didn't come home last night, so she didn't see my messed up face and ruined clothes. I washed them so mom wouldn't see them, but she still isn't home.
I'm supposed to go see Dad Friday after school, alone. I'm a little worried about it, but I think I will be okay. Emma didn't bully me today. It was strange. I don't know what happened. She said it's just her giving me time to recover. I hope mom gets home soon. I will have to make my dinner again and leave her a note telling her that I have some in the fridge if she doesn't come home.
