Grayson's POV
I saw her run and I almost ran after her, she was in for a beat down, but I just chose to ditch the rest of the day. I had my book bag so I just started to walk home, no one would be there besides Ethan. As I make my way home I notice a white van following me, it made me feel weird. I made my way home and walked inside to find Ethan in his bed watching Netflix, I made him jump when I opened the door.
"Dude what are you doing home? You know mom will kill you if she finds out you skipped school." He said.
"Chill out dude, she won't find out, Right?" I said giving him a look.
"Yeah." He says with a sigh.
"Awesome, now get some rest, I'm going out." I say going to the door.
"Ok have fun, don't get kidnapped." He says as I close the door.
I grab an apple and walk outside, it was still kinda early so my friends were still in class. I just decided to go to the wood and walk around, I had so many memories there. I quickly approach the woods and walk around, after a while I found a tree house, it looked stable but abundant. I climbed up it and enjoyed the view, the trees and sky made me feel so relaxed. After a while I climbed down and walked until I found something weird, it was a piece of paper.
It read "Help" and had blood all over it, I was scared.
"HELP!!" I hear a familiar voice call out.
I knew the voice but I couldn't point out who it was. Before I could do anything, I felt some one put their arm around my neck and a cloth to my mouth, everything went black.
Blaire's POV
I woke up in a room with my hands and arms tied up, the room was pretty dark but I could make out a body on the other side of the room, also tied up. I see the door slowly open, in came a man with two trays in his hands.
"Here eat up." He says with no emotion and walks out.
"And how do you suppose we do that?" The other person asks.
I know that voice from anywhere, it's Grayson.
"What did you just say?" I hear a more angry man say.
He soon comes in and turns the light on, he was dressed in all black and had his hood up so I couldn't see his face.
"How do you think we are suppose to eat this if our hands are tied up?" Grayson says in a rude tone.
The man grabs Grayson by the collar bone, lifting him up of the ground. Grayson had fear in his eyes, he started to shake. The man hit, kicked and punched him, Grayson was almost coughing up blood.
"Talk back again and I'll get the girl." He stated and walked out.
I looked over at him, he was terrified.
"Grayson, why did you do that?" I ask him.
"Why do you want to know?" He said.
With that I stopped talking, I guess I should start eating this... food? I move my legs out of the way and lay on my side, I position my head at the plate and eat. I look over at Grayson who is looking at me with disgust and amazement at the same time, I probably look crazy.
"You're an animal." He says with a small laugh.
"Well, would you rather starve?" I say looking back over at him.
"True." He says.
He then tries to get in the position I'm in, I laugh at his attempt.
"Stop looking at me, and don't laugh at me." He yells.
It made me jump, I guess he can't cope with the fact that we will probably be stuck here for a while, together. He was just like that.
