6 months later

Ethan's POV

It had been half a year since we had left to find Grayson and Blaire and we had no luck what so ever, we ended up coming back one month ago. Chase got a place here and Vanessa stayed with him, I stayed home and it was so quiet without Grayson.

I sat at the island in the kitchen as I ate my breakfast, my parents were in the living room watching the news.

"And upcoming news on the two teenagers who went missing out if New Jersey a little over half a year ago coming up in a moment." The announcer said.

I jumped out of my seat and ran to the tv, were Gray and Blaire ok?

"Our top story right now, the two teenagers who were kidnapped out of New Jersey and taken to California have been found but dead. The two teens named Grayson Dolan and Blaire Connors were found on an island, both dying from different causes. The police believe Blaire's death to be drowning and Grayson's to be suicide, Grayson was found hanging above Blaire as she laid on the ground." The announcer said.

I was heartbroken, I can't believe my brother took his own life. I turned around and walked up into my room, I slammed my face on my pillow and cried. I couldn't stop either, the more I did try to stop, the more tears came.

Vanessa's POV

Chase and I were running to Ethan's house, I knew he saw the news about them and I needed to comfort him. We reached the side of his house and climbed up to his window, I tapped the window when I reached the window sill.

Ethan looked up at me with red, puffy eyes. He slowly opened the window and let us in. I held Ethan as he cried on my shoulder, I looked at Chase and he was tearing up as well. I had never seen him cry ever so I started crying, Chase wrapped his arm around me and held the both of us.

"I miss him so much Vanessa, I miss Blaire so much." Ethan cried.

"Why did he do it? Why couldn't it be me?" He cried again.

"Hey, he was going through so much pain, He probably couldn't take it anymore." I said running his back.

"But he was so strong." He cried out.

I heard Chase sniffle, he was actually crying.

"And Blaire, she had so much potential."

Ethan couldn't stop crying at this point, it made me feel so heartbroken.

"I just wish I never let him go out." He whispered.

I cried even harder, so much that I couldn't stop. This kind of brotherly love was one I had never seen before, all I wanted was for them to be back.

"I'm so sorry man, I really am." Chase said.

Ethan didn't say anything, he just kept on crying.

*Later that night*

Chase's POV

It was about 3 in the morning and we were still in Ethan's room, Vanessa and Ethan were asleep and still hugging each other but I was on the floor. I looked in the corner and saw a glowing bright light, I rubbed my eyes as I thought I was just seeing things but it didn't go away, in fact it was clearer.

"Ethan, dude, wake up." I said shaking Ethan.

"Mm, what is it?" He said blankly.

"Look." I said pointing at the corner.

Vanessa soon woke up and looked in the corner, Ethan got up and walked towards it.

"Gray?" He said once he reached it.

Vanessa and I were shocked.

"Yes." It spoke.

Grayson's POV

I stood in front of Ethan, he looked so happy.

"Yes." I said.

He gave me a hug, even though I was an angel, I was still solid so he wouldn't go through me. I hugged him back, I was going to miss him so much.

"Grayson, why?" He asked me.

"After Blaire drowned, I had to be with her. I couldn't imagine my life without her, I love her." I said.

"But I thought you hated her?" He questioned me.

"A lot can happen in a short period of time." I said.

He hugged me again.

"I'll miss you so much." He said.

"I'll miss you more, but I'll always be watching from above." I said.

"I'll remember that." He said.

"Is Blaire ok?" He asked.

"Yes, she's fine." I said.

"That's great." He smiled with tears in his eyes.

I could feel a few tears escape from my eyes, I didn't want to hold them back so I let them fall free. I soon felt myself starting to fade, Ethan gave me one last hug before I left. I closed my eyes because I didn't want to see anything, I just wanted to feel my last hug with my brother.

I opened my eyes to see that I was back in the clouds with Blaire, I looked down on a puddle to see Ethan standing in the same position he was in.

"I miss you Gray." He said.

I smiled.

"I miss you too bud."

I felt a hand on my back, I looked over to see Blaire.

"That was so sweet." She said.

I smiled and kissed her cheek.

This was it, this was our journey.

"Blaire," I said

"Yeah?" She responded

"I love you."

She smiled and I kissed her lips, I guess this is where it ends.
