Skylar's POV

Even though my face was covered with bruises, I still had to go out in public. I needed to take the kids to school and I needed to go grocery shopping. I hopped out of the shower and put on my blue jean shorts, black boots and red sweater. I did my hair so that it could fall over my face and cover up some of the bruises. When I realized that even though it covered up some bruises it didn't cover my black eyes, I put on some shades.

I know that since Elijah lost the match yesterday, paparazzi was going to be everywhere. If they noticed that I had bruises, they would think Elijah did them and things would be worse for me. Once I was dressed I went downstairs and cooked breakfast. I decided on eggs, bacon, pancakes, and sausage, Elijah's favorite. I went down the hall and made sure my children were awake. To my surprise, Elijah was in their hallway making sure they were getting ready. One thing I can say about him is that he is a good dad. I looked up and noticed me. "Kids say good morning to mommy." he said as he smiled at me. I couldn't help but smile and blush. "Good morning mommy", they all said in monotone voices. They hate getting up early for school. I was thinking about homeschooling them but Elijah insisted that they have some type of regular life.

"Good Morning kids... I made breakfast! Hurry so you can come eat before it gets cold!" I said as I noticed Elijah kept looking at me. I turned around and was walking back to the kitchen. Elijah followed me... I instantly got nervous. I wasn't in the mood to be fighting this morning. "Sky... look baby I'm sorry about last night. You know how I get when I lose a match, and when the Hennessy gets in my system I get crazy." He said as he turned me around by my shoulder. "Then stop drinking so much Eli!" I said as I took of my sunglasses. "I am NOT your personal punching bag and who the hell has to wear sunglasses inside of their own home? The kids can't see me like this!" I said as tears started to fall. "Skylar I am so sorry. Let me make it up to you." He said as he pulled me into his embrace.

"Let me take the kids to school and you can go to the spa... get a massage, go get your hair and nails done. Go get something nice. And meet me back here at 7:30." He said as he handed me the black card. "Okay Eli... but money can't always fix everything." I said as I grabbed the card from him and put it in my pocket. I walked around to where the food was and started making everyone's plate. When I heard the kids coming down the hall, I ran over to where I put my sunglasses and put them back on. I didn't have time to be answering all types of questions.

When Elijah and the kids left, I went back upstairs and got my purse, phone and wallet. I put the black card inside of wallet and grabbed my keys. I really did need this day to relax.

Elijah's POV

I'm never really sorry about putting my hands on Skylar. Half the time she be deserving that shit. I called her dumb ass several times. And honestly, I knew she wasn't with another man. I just needed a reason to be mad. That was the biggest fight of my life and I lost it. I feel like I should be able to express myself to my wife and she should be able to accept the fact that I need a way to relieve my stress. If she wasn't such a scary bitch, she would be able to put up a fight sometimes. So, don't get me wrong, I love Skylar, but she's boring, it's not like it used to be when I first met her. We met when she was in college and I was visiting my brother on campus. She was on the drill team and I was working on trying to become a big time boxer. No one believed in me, except Skylar. We immediately fell in love and she was always by my side, eventually, she decided to drop out of college and just be with me all the time. I definitely loved her for that, and I will ALWAYS love her for that. But when I made it big and she had the kids, she changed – she pushed me away. So I started talking to other women.
