My dad was spacing out as Daryl kept trying to get his attention by repeating his name, "Rick, Rick, can you hear me? Rick. Rick, you with me?" Maggie was cradling the crying, unnamed baby in her arms.
Maggie handed me the baby and Hershel demanded, "Let me see the baby." I walked over from my spot next to Maggie, Glenn, Daryl, and my dad.
"What're we gonna feed it?" Daryl asked, walking over a walker lying on the ground to get to Hershel and Beth. "Do we got anything a baby can eat?" Daryl asked again. I walked closer to Hershel and he unfolded a piece of whatever the baby was laying in and he said, "Good news is, she looks healthy" I looked down at the baby, then Hershel said, "but she needs formula, and soon—or she won't survive."
"Nope" Daryl said. "No way–not her. We ain't losin' nobody else, I'm goin' for a run."
"I'll back you up." Maggie said.
"I'll go too." Glenn said.
"Okay, I think I know where we're goin'. Beth?" Daryl asked, in a demanding manner.
I couldn't hear what they were saying, but it looked important, so I kept to myself. My dad was still spacing out, and it seemed as thoughts he was looking at the sky. My dad looked over at Axl, then Daryl said, "You two get the vests, if too many pile up we got ourselves a problem." Then, my dad got up from where he was crouching down and walked over to an ax on the ground.
"Glenn! Maggie! Vamanos!" Daryl said. Then, my dad picked up the ax and walked away from us.
"Rick!" Maggie exclaimed, but my dad ignored her. He just walked inside and left us dumbfounded. I stared at him with Hershel's hands rubbing on my shoulders in a gentle gesture until Daryl projected, "Get the gate. C'mon! We're gonna lose the light." and he walked away to his vehicle, and Maggie and Glenn turned to follow him. When they got to their vehicles, they looked as though they had a problem and then Maggie and Glenn kissed. Afterwards, Maggie got on Daryl's bike with Daryl and they sped out of the gates to the outside world beyond the prison.

Glenn was digging into the ground for a burial site for my mom. I am just sitting here, doing absolutely nothing. I could be out there, with Glenn, helping him out but I can't. I cant stop thinking about last night when I felt a kiss goodnight. It couldn't have been my mom, obviously. Maybe Beth? No, Beth wouldn't do that, she hardly knows me and she was still outside with the rest of my group when I got the kiss.
I push myself off of the ground, and I put a hand around my gun for safe keeping. I turn on my heel and I run back inside the prison.
When I entered the prison, there was some walker moans coming from the tombs. I walked over to check it out, but then it stopped. I figured my dad killed them, since he has been down there for awhile, until I see a figure standing silently farther down the hallway.
The figure looks like the silhouette of a small person, perhaps my age, but I cannot tell. I open the door the the tombs and the figure disappeared.
I must be so crazy I'm seeing things I thought.
I turned my head and I saw a girl around my age in front of me. The girl has beautiful, glowing, almost heaven-like blonde hair that cascades down to her pelvis in curls. Her eyes are an odd, purplish color, and she was covered in no blood. I immeadiately put up my weapon and asked, "Who are you?"
