They said goodbye to Luke and left a little before sun up. They were up in the air... Again. They flew a little north west from Egypt and landed in a green place with big mountains.
It was a beautiful place to be. Completely different from Egypt. They saw a bunch of new animals, like does, bunnies, and more humans. They yet again found themselves walking around. "Hey Zoe, do you think you have the power to turn into a human? People keep staring at you and it's worrying me," Sofia commented.
"I don't know. Let's find a forest." Zoe replied. They were able to find a thick forest with no sign of humans. The foxes stood back and watched Zoe. Zoe closed her eyes, and bits of light shot out of her. The process was over and Zoe was on the floor. The foxes walked slowly up to Zoe. "Z-Zoe? A-Are you o-ok?" Christina stuttered.
Zoe looked up at her friends. She had olive skin, with kind brown eyes, and light brown hair. "I feel great!" She exclaimed. She tried to fly, but when she did, she fell on her face. The foxes started laughing their heads off. "Shut up... This is my first time being a human." Zoe pouted. The foxes stopped laughing, but Sofia continued to giggle.
They went back to the town they were near and walked around. It was amazing. There was the smell of fresh food, people helping each other, people talking and having a good time, it looked like a friendly place. "Hello! Welcome to Austria! Are you tourists?" A kind bunny asked.
"Umm... Yeah. We're tourists." Sofia answered.
"Let me show you around!" It offered and hopped away. She was a white bunny with gold ears, tail, and a gold spot around her right eye. She had light brown eyes that were very welcoming. "My name is Clare and this is my village." She said.
"I'm Christina, and these are my friends, Sofia and Zoe." She said pointing and the other fox and human. Clare showed us around the village and the meadows and even the whole forest. They met a doe, a buck, a spider, and many more animals. They loved looking at the mountains and all the green grass.
"What brings you to Austria?" Clare asked.
"Travel. All of us have always wanted to see the world." Sofia informed.
Clare nodded her head, "I used to travel... But then a hunter killed my husband, so I've just tried to stay hidden in the forest." She finished.
Zoe gave a shocked face, "that escalated quickly." Everyone laughed.•••
It was about mid sun when the animals came across a mansion. TWEET! Was what they herd once they approached the gate. They saw a man with a whistle and children marching in a line over to him. TWEET! TWEET! TWEET! Went the whistle multiple times as the children walked out. "Liesl!" He yelled and a girl stepped forward then back. "Friedrich!" He called and the boy did the same. "Louisa!" "Kurt!" "Brigitta!" "Marta!" "Gretl!" They all did the same as the one before. They were like soldiers, but they were children. They decided they shouldn't stay any longer because Clare told them it wouldn't end too pretty.
They walked back to the village where they were safer. When they got back, Clare had to go.
Zoe turned back into a fairy horse and was ready to settle down for the night. They found a nice comfy grass area to lay in. They slept the night away, ready for their adventure for the next day.
