The small group immediately starts their adventure to find their friend. The three walked for hours at a time flying through the air on Vixens back. They usually took a break at high moon and stopped to sleep and moon rise. They traveled west for at least a week until they finally reached their destination. It was a cold place, but not as cold as the North Pole. They looked around until they saw their landmark. "A big rainbow? Really? Oh yeah that's right, no one can see rainbows cuz they're all colorblind!" Christina said angrily.
"Calm down. Geez... Last I checked, foxes are colorblind so you can keep your mouth shut.... you son of a.." Vixen was cut off.
"HEY!!! Don't influence the little one!" Christina said as she pointed at Sofia who had big puppy dog eyes.
Vixen rolled his eyes, "Lets just get this over with... I want to see my love."
They walked up the rainbow which to their surprise didn't take long at all. They entered a land full of unicorns, rainbows, sparkles, butterflies, flowers, (sugar, spice, everything nice you get the picture) all on clouds. The trio looked around for a big castle that looked suspiciously... suspicious. They walked around for hours until they realized that they had been walking around the castle for the past hour. They entered the house with caution not knowing what to expect.
The doors creaked open and the inside of the castle was dark as night. "Hello?" Sofia asked for a response.
"Sofia! You'll give away our cover! Shush!" Christina whispered and looked at Sofia with a mad face. They walked around the castle with caution, not knowing what to expect to come for them.
"Hello animals of orange fur, black paws, and chest and tip of tail white. We've been expecting you." Said the queen and king fairy horse.
"Where's our friend?!" Yelled Vixen.
"Princess Zoe? Haha... She's locked in her sleeping chamber... awaiting a 'knight with shiny sleigh bells.'" Taunted the king.
Christina sprinted to the king ready to head butt him. The king however was able to dodge this in a quick movement. "You'll have to do better than that to get him." Gloated the queen.
"Is it a battle your asking for?!" Yelled Christina.
"Indeed you weakling..." The queen responded.
The foxes lined up next to Vixen as they each took turns attacking, first, the queen. Vixen hits the horse with his antlers, breaking off a chunk of his antler. Sofia and Christina bite the legs hard enough to the point where blood is flowing out. The queen falls in pain, but gets back up almost immediately. Vixen stabs his antler that had a chunk missing into the heart of the queen. She falls to the floor not breathing. They all look to the king, "Unlike my wife, I actually fight instead of standing there in pain." he claimed.
The foxes ignored this and went for the legs again. The king flew up in the air causing the foxes to run into the wall. Staying in the air, Vixen had to fly up and attempted to spear him in the chest. The king yet again dodged the attack and Vixen crashed into the wall, losing most of his antlers. Seeing this as an opportunity, the king flung himself at Vixen horn ahead of him. The foxes held their breath waiting to see what would happen next. Vixen was still a little dizzy from his crash, but managed to get out of the way. The foxes sighed in relief. The battle continued. Vixen lunged himself at the king giving him a scratch along his side. He didn't seemed too harmed by it. The king used his magic and surrounded himself with horns. The horns hurled towards Vixen at a rapid speed giving him no time to react. Vixen fell to the floor with a loud THUD. The foxes quickly ran over to him. "No no no.... Vixen... Don't go... You need to see Zoe one more time." Christina cried.
"Just do me a favor...." He mumbled, ".... Save her." His head fell and he stopped breathing. Sofia threw herself on him an cried for a second.
"You weak foxes... Crying! Over an animal that isn't one of your kind!" The king laughed.
Under Sofia's breath she mumbled, "Now." Christina looked at her with a confused look. Sofia's eyes glowed ice blue, her teeth grew, her size doubled, she was glowing, and flying. Christina was confused by this but then realized.
"This was your Christmas wish... Wasn't it?" Christina said startled.
"My wish was that if either you or Zoe was in danger, I could change into an unbeatable fox to protect you." Sofia replied with a deep voice.
Christina was amazed she would do such a meaningful thing for her friends. "Get him Sof!" She called. The king gave a look of fright of the over sized fox. He tried to run, but Sofia caught him by the tail.
"Now I can do 1 of 2 things here... 1 being I let you go, but by the looks of this, you don't deserve to live.. 2 being I rip off your horn and eat you for what you've done to your daughter, and quite possibly your kingdom... Decisions decisions... Which to choose?" Sofia asked him.
"Please, oh.. holy fox, let me live... Us fairy horses are very full of our selves." He pleaded.
"That is a lie... Your daughter has thought of us for the longest time... Never once thought of herself... that I remember. You however have shown selfishness for a looong time... Zoe has told me... Hey Christina! How do you feel like deep fried fairy horse?"
"Sof I think you're being a little harsh.... You still have powers right?" Christina asked. Sofia nodded, "well, why not make him a normal horse?"
"Ooooo... I like that one very much. Make you normal. No special powers. Perfect." Sofia sneered. She waved her paw over the fairy horse and when they could finally see him again, he was nothing but a normal white horse. "I shall send you down to the Earth where you can FIND a place to live... Actually, I'll be nice... I know a girl who's very good with bad ponies." Sofia said as she sent him with a note to Abby.
*****
"Wow... What a..." Christina was cut off as Sofia was changing back, "That was an adventure..."
"Yeah... I can't believe I did-" Sofia was cut off.
"Guys?" A voice came from the top of the stairs.
"ZOE!!!" The foxes yelled together as they ran to their friend.
"My parents-"
"Are dead." Sofia finished.
"And Vixen?" The foxes were quiet. "Oh no.... no no no.... Not Vixen!!!" Zoe cried.
"It's ok Zoe... You still have us." Christina whispered.
"You're right. I have my best friends with me. I don't think that relationship was going to last anyways." Zoe laughed.
(Time went by and they decided to go home)
