Rachel was back at home that same day after the entire out burst in Glee. She needed to speak with her fathers but she was going to start with her mother first. Which was my Shelby stood in the Berry's living room while her daughter stood across from her.
"What's this about Rachel?"
"Mom, why have you given up on me?" Rachel got right to the point as she looked into her mothers brown eyes. "I mean I know you have Beth now but I am still your first born, so why?"
Shelby stared at the little diva like she just grew an extra head.
"Rachel, I haven't given up on you, I'm still here no matter what you need,"
Hearing that from the older woman made Rachel's heart clench. She needed Shelby, she needed her mom.
(The feeling on her right arm loosened as Rachel watched her mother let go and disappear)
Once she finished an hour long conversation and promises to meet up with Shelby, Rachel pulled out her cell and dialed the one number she would never forget.
"I need you," was her reply to the person who answered.
