Everyone was on Rachel's case after the locker scene. Her fathers did leave, Mr. Schue wanted to keep giving solos to Tina and Mercedes and Quinn kept the slushies coming. It was wearing her down and anybody could see it. Even Santana.

(Rachel pulls with all her might, her left foot being the only thing free to give her leverage. But her fathers would pull even harder and Quinn would tug and Mr. Schue would tighten the ties. It was no use, when Rachel would try and break free, the restraints got tighter)

Rachel had had enough by the end of the week. It was Mr. Schue who pushed the last button. He was handing out papers for a song they would do for nationals and Rachel got the alto part when she was clearly a Saprano.

The man began to talk about Tina getting the solo and Santana sat next to the Rachel, her eyes on her as she waited for the much needed out burst.

"So Tina, you get a solo again this time and I gave you the-"

"This is bullshit!"

Santana grins and looks at her paper, "Right on time,"

"Excuse me," Mr. Schue said, looking at Rachel.

"You have given her every damn solo this week, I have kept my mouth shut but I'm done being pushed around, no more," Rachel threw her papers down and challanged Mr. Schue.

"Says the girl who's fathers are never home,"

Rachel turned to stare at Quinn, so much hate and anger in them that it made her flinch.

"You have slushied me for last fucking time, I swear if you slushy me one more time Quinn, you need to grow up and act your damn age, we are Seniors so grow. The. Fuck. Up!" Rachel shouted. Quinn was stunned.

"Rachel that wasn't-"

She turned to the teacher with daggers.

"Do not even go there, you have been shutting me down, not one solo has been given to me since a month ago, that is bullshit,"

"But the others-"

"Have had time to shine, Mr. Schue you told me you were my biggest fan, it's senior year, I will be gone soon, this is my time to shine, Tina is a junior, she can shine next year, as a teacher, you are suppose to be helping us seniors," her voice got softer as she spoke but still had that edge to it.

Mr. Schue looked away like he was disappointed in himself before he looked at Tina.

"Do you mind giving-"

"No, of course not, she does have a point," Tina smiled and handed Rachel her paper.

(Mr. Schue let the rope of ties go as she turned and disappeared, the ties vanshing)

She was still being held back by Quinn and her fathers but she knew what she had to do.
