Chapter 2

Lester's Point of View

I saw it all. I didn't know what to do. Break down in front of everyone? Just stand? Should I still confess? What does she even think of me now? All these thoughts were spinning in my head.

Katelyn's Point of View

I run to Lester.

"Lesteeeeeeeeer! Did you see that?"

He was looking at the floor. A tear rolled down his cheek.

"Lester? What's wrong?"

I hug him tightly.

"You can tell me."

"No it's nothing to worry about. I just... There was an eyelash in my eye."

"Oh umm ok. "

I knew there was something wrong.

*After School*

"Lester I know an eyelash wasn't in your eye. I know you well enough. Can we just talk about it?"

He nods his head.

"Can I go to your house?"

He nods his head once again.

"Ok let's go!"

I grab my skateboard and drag Virginia (she's on her bike) and Aileen along (she's wearing skates}

George catches up to me and so does JJ.

"George! JJ!"

We stop for a moment but Virginia went ahead because I was too fast for her.

We give each other a tight hug and a peck on the cheek.

"Where are you headed towards?"

George looked so OMFG Perfect.

Wearing a snap back sideways and his curls sticking out, crew neck (What you wear Aileen :P) and yellow jeans.

"I'm going to Lester's house so we can talk about what happened to him after you asked me out. Wait. Ask me out... Oh My God. I'm sorry George I have to hurry. I Love You!"

I give him a kiss on the head and dropped my skateboard to the ground and jumped onto it and quickly skated to Lester's house.

Aileen was looking into JJ's brown eyes. I drag her away from JJ to go to Lester's house.

*At Lester's House*

I gasped for air. I can't believe I had to leave my boyfriend like that.

Lester opened the door for me. I pick up my skateboard and walked in. All the memories of us being playful with each other, watching movies, play would you rather, or just lay on the floor, flashed in front of my eyes. I wanted to cry.

I walked up to his room.

He was just sitting on his bed.

I sat next to him.

I looked at him and just collapsed on his bed.

He just looked at me and did the same.

I looked him in the eyes and he did the same.

"What's wrong."

He rolled over closer to me.

Lester's Point of View

I rolled over closer to her and looked her in the eyes.

She looked so perfect. But she's taken. I started to cry.

She pulled me close to her.

It was a long hug and it made me feel better that she could be mine for a while before she's out of my grasp again.

She was still holding me in her arms until Virginia came into the room.

Virginia's Point of View

I walked into Lester's room with Aileen.

Aileen had a mouth full of candy.

I saw she was laying down with Lester in her arms.

I knew she wasn't trying to cheat on George but she still loves Lester.

"Ahem." Aileen interupted them

They both got up.

Katelyn's Point of View

I got up and let go of Lester.

I felt my heart break when I let him go.

"So what's wrong? Whatever it is, I'll listen no matter what."

"Do you promise?" His eyes were red

"I promise."

Lester's Point of View

"I Promise."

I sighed.

She looked at me in the eyes. Her eyes were turning a dark blue. But why?

I told her what happened. (You already know why)

She nodded her head. Her eyes were turning a lighter blue.

She reached for my hand and I held her hand. She just lie back down on my bed.

She closed her eyes. Tears streaming down her face.

If only we could have this life for one more day.

I stroked through her messy hair. Her hair so soft.

I moved closer to her and burried my face in my pillow. I was crying too. She fell asleep and I did too.

*End of Chapter*
