Chapter 18

Katelyn's PoV

My phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Will you come to my house right now?"

"What? Now? It's almost dark!" My voice cracked from the crying.

"Please. It's an emergency, Scott has gone out of control." He cried into the phone.

"Alright, bye." I hung up and grabbed my board and his jacket.

"LISA!!!"

"Yeah?" She yelled out from the kitchen.

"Come with me!"

"Fine." She quickly put on her shoes.

I put on my converse and ran out the door with Lisa.

*2 minutes later*

The door was open.

I picked up my board.

"Lisa, becareful."

"Why?" She looked around.

"Scott." I turned my head.

He was standing in the corner of the room.

"Oh." She rolled her eyes.

He had a knife in his hands.

"What's that for"

He ran to me and tried to strangle me.

Lisa ran to him and threw him down to the floor.

I got up and slowly walked up to Lester's room.

"Are you alright?" Lester walked up to me.

"Here let me help you." He sat me down on his bed and went into the bathroom.

He came back with a band-aid and a wet cloth.

Lester's PoV

I gently wiped off the blood off from behind her ear and put the baid-aid on her cut.

"Thanks." She turned to me. Her eyes were pink.

"So, how's your relationship with George?"

"We broke up." She leaned onto my shoulder.

"Why?"

"Because." She got up.

I stood beside her.

I pulled her hair behind her back to the side.

Her eyes were blue.

"Because I still... I still love you." She broke down into tears.

I pulled her close to me.

My jacket was still around her shoulders.

She was still very cold.

Her face was burried into my shoulder.

I picked her up bridal style and lied her down on the bed.

I got onto the bed and pulled the covers over her.

She pulled me under with her.

Her arms snaked around my neck.

She pulled herself closer to me.

"Do you still love me?" She whispered.

My arms went around her waist.

"Yes."

She fell asleep.

I brushed the hair away from her eyes.

She looked so pretty.

She broke up with George because of me.

It has been five years and she never told me.

I let go of her an loosened her grip from my neck.

I walked out of my room to find Lisa looking down at Scott.

The knife was across the room.

"I hate you Scott." Her voice was sharp like a knife.

"I know you do." He didn't look up.

"I have a boyfriend, stay far away from me." She turned away from him.

He grabbed her hand.

Please. Stay. You are the only way I can be normal." He started to cry.

Lisa's PoV

"What?"

"Please. Stay." He repeated.

"How will I ever make you normal?"

He didn't reply.

I walked up the stairs to go check on Katelyn.

"Is she okay?" I asked Lester.

"Yeah she is." He replied.

I walked in to see her.

She was sleeping.

Tears soaked the pillow.

I walked back out.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER!"

"She told me what happened. She didn't tell you?" He went into the room and quietly closed the door.
