*Alice's P.O.V*
I woke up to the alarm blaring near my ear. I groaned and tried to find the sound but all I felt was my phone as it vibrated and blared some random tune. I opened one of my eyes and unlocked the phone to turn the alarm off. I rolled out of bed and stood up and stretched my aching bones. The events of yesterday rushed back through my head and I had to hold my temples to stop the oncoming headache. I went to my small bathroom and took a quick shower, brushed my teeth, and got dressed. I went through the door into my conjoined office space. I sat at my desk and opened the five files that were on my desk. I read over them carefully, figuring out how to best approach each of them. I heard a knock on my door. "Enter." The nice guard from yesterday entered and nodded his head to me. "I'm accompanying you on your rounds today." I nodded and grabbed my notebook and my phone and beeper and walked behind him out into the narrow hallway. We began our trek toward the cell blocks. We were halfway there when someone bumped into me with force. "Oh sorry," I started to apologize. The nurse from yesterday looked at me, "My fault. Really need my coffee in the morning." I gave her a small smile which she returned. She went on her way and the guard and I reached the cells. He looked at me, "Ready?" I gave him a small nod and he went and opened the door. We walked in and the cold temperature that wasn't there yesterday hit me. A shiver ran down my spine and I held my arms close to my body. We walked to the first cell that held Daesung. I swallowed remembering yesterday when I had met him. The guard opened the door and we walked in together. Daesung was sitting on the floor with his back to the door. I walked farther into the room and cleared my throat. Daesung swung his head around and a wide smile appeared on his face. He seemed like he was a completely different person from when I met him yesterday. He stood up and bowed to me, "Hello, Alice!" I gave him a small smile, "Good morning, Daesung. How did you sleep last night?" He shrugged his shoulders, "I slept the same as always." I rose an eyebrow waiting for him to explain but instead he asked, "Do you want to sit down or something?" I nodded my head and sat at the edge of his bed. He sat down on the other side of his bed and crossed his legs in front of him. He looked at me through his long blonde hair that covered his eyes. I cleared my throat and opened my notebook. "So. How does this work exactly?" I looked over at him and smiled. "Well, basically you just tell me what's on your mind, and I will try to help you as much as I can." He nodded his head slowly. "So where do I begin," he asked. "Wherever you want to start." He looked as if he was in deep concentration as he thought. I took the opportunity to look around his room. It was grayish white like the other cells except for the fact that there were indents on the walls as if he had punched the wall multiple times. I scanned over the indents as if I could feel the pain behind each punch. I looked over at him. He was wearing a worn out white t-shirt that accented his muscles. His jeans had holes in them from him pulling them on and off roughly. He moved a strand of hair out of his face and smiled. "Can I just tell you a joke instead?" I smiled, "Sure, why not."
