Chapter Sixteen

*Alice's P.O.V*
My eyes shot open when I heard a loud bang from somewhere around me. I looked around the unfamiliar room. I was on a couch and the room seemed to be swaying back and forth. I could feel myself getting sick from the constant swaying. I heard a faint snoring next to me and looked to see TOP fast asleep with a blanket around him. I stood up slowly not trying to wake him and nearly fell when a wave a dizziness hit me. I shuffled my way to the bathroom and kneeled by the toilet and started throwing up my guts. I stood up while flushing and walked over to the sink. I splashed some cool water on my face and leaned against the sink with my eyes closed. I felt a pair of strong arms snake around my waist. "Are you okay," TOP whispered into my ear. I nodded my head slowly. "Where are we?" He shrugged lightly. "I don't know for sure. That strange man won't tell us a thing." I rose an eyebrow. Strange man? "How long have we been here?" He shrugged again, "A couple days at the most. You have been sleeping the entire time though." I let out a small sigh and walked back into the room. He followed closely behind me, probably watching to see if I was going to fall or not. I sat back down on the couch and he wrapped the blanket tightly around me. "I'll go tell the others that you are awake." I nodded and watched him leave the room quickly. I looked around the room. There was really nothing in here except for the couch and a small desk. I heard voices and soon enough the guys all walked in and surrounded me. Each facial expression was different. They ranged from curious to fear. I'm pretty sure my face was similar to each of theirs as well. "Why didn't you tell us," stated GD. I rose an eyebrow. "Tell you what?" "You being like us," said Seungri. I shook my head and a small chuckle erupted from me. "I'm not like you guys. I'm just a simple therapist nothing more." They all looked at me in confusion. "But that man told us..." I looked at Daesung. "What man? Who the hell are you guys talking about." I stood up now curling my hands into tight fists. I could feel anger seeping into my system. "I'm just a normal person, who does normal things. I don't know what the fuck you guys are talking about and who the fuck is this strange man you all are hallucinating?" I was now screaming at them by this point. The door behind them opened and my supposed to be father walked in. He held up his hands. "Calm down." I glared at him, "Why should I calm the fuck down. You fucking kidnapped us. What the hell." He shook his head, "I didn't kidnap anyone. I am saving you guys. Just listen to me for a second. I can explain everything to you. Just please listen." I walked over to him and he took a step back. "Why should I listen to a liar?" He sighed, "I guess I won't be able to talk any sense into you. Adam, you can come in here now." A man who was probably the same height as TOP walked into the room. He had black hair and the darkest green eyes that I have ever seen. They seemed to flash for a second when he saw me, but then went back to their dull color. I crossed my arms over my chest. "And who is this supposed to be? Let me guess. This must be my biological brother." The man shifted slightly and cleared his throat. "Well yes. I am your brother." My expression went from smug to shocked in no time flat. I stared at him and started to see the resemblances. "Adam?" He gave me a small smile. "The one and only." I nearly jumped on him when I went and gave him a hug. He hugged me back tightly. I could feel tears coming to my eyes. We broke apart after a couple of minutes. "Interesting," mumbled my supposed father. Adam and I turned toward him. "What was that?" He looked at us in surprise. "Oh it's nothing." Adam let out an irritated sigh, "Spit it out." He shifted uncomfortably, "It's just that when you two are together your eyes seem to get brighter. It was the same way when you both were young. It actually proves that you two were siblings." I looked at Adam and noticed him looking at me his eyes flashed like before and by the look on his face, mine did as well. "Alright then. I guess you should probably explain. I'm warning you though. If you are telling us complete bullshit I will throw you overboard." I glared at him. He simply nodded his head and told everyone to gather around. I went and sat down by TOP and he held my hand in his lap. Adam sat next to me whil GD and Seungri were on the floor by our feet and Taeyang and Daesung sat on the arms of the sofa. He cleared his throat and began speaking. "Well the company that I work for, or rather use to work for, was a major one in the government. We studied human behavior and isolated the genetic coding inside of human beings. The government asked our facility to design a soldier who would be able to go out into combat without the use of feelings, and only had one priority in mind, to complete the mission. That's what you two were. You two were the beginning. The start of all of this. You two were the start of the genetically mutated soldiers. We kept you locked away from years, we developed your skills slowly, maintained your neutral state, but something in the back of my mind was wrong. I felt it wasn't right to keep children locked away. Not to be able to live a normal life. Not to be able to experience what life had to offer. I knew I had to do something before it was to late. I made the decision to kidnap you both away and give you to the life you deserve. I erased any memory of the facility from your mind and made you both believe you were orphans. I watched you both as you matured into well mannered beings. I watched you both through the easy and tough times. I was shocked when I saw Alice back at the facility, but apparently they had no idea who you were which surprised me. I tried keeping your identity a secret, but somehow someone found out about it and so I had to take action. I contacted your brother and he agreed to come and help me get you out. The downfall to this whole plan was the five of them." He pointed to the guys who were staring at him with wide eyes. "I was planning on leaving them, but Adam refused to leave them behind. So now we have to be truly careful about how we proceed from here." TOP tightened his grip on my hand. "So where exactly are we going,"asked GD. "New York."
