I park the car in Uncle Mason's driveway and slam the door behind me after grabbing my bag. Just to let you know, my dad was an only child and my mom had a brother and a sister, so Uncle Mason, Aunt Becky, and my mom were siblings. The last time I saw Uncle Mason was a day before the car crash that killed my parents. I know he still lives here because he texts me often. I'm here to ask him if I can leave my car here until I have the time to pick it up and get an apartment. Hopefully, I'll find one before school ends.

I knock on the door. A man with a balding head with spots of brown like Aunt Becky's, answers the door with a wide smile. Everyone, meet Uncle Mason. "Emma, so wonderful to see you," he says, engulfing me in a hug. "You've grown so much."

"Well, it's been five years," I say.

"Come in. Helena with be glad to see you." He pulls away and motions to come inside; I follow him inside. "Helena!" he calls up the stairs.

"Yes, Mason?" a lady's voice answers.

"Emma's here." Suddenly, my Aunt Helena comes running down the stairs. Her black hair is pinned back and dark brown eyes brighten up her pale face. Aunt Helena and I were always very close. She was my teacher in my daycare when I was three. That's how Uncle Mason and Aunt Helena met. They dated for a year before getting married, and having my cousins, Maria and Chloe, two years later. So, if it weren't for me, my uncle and aunt wouldn't have met.

Aunt Helena wraps her arms around me. "It's been too long," she says and I nod. "So, how's Rebecca's?" she asks.

"Not great," I answer. "Aunt Becky is rude and Jessica is annoying. It's not the same without Lucky." Lucky was Matt's spider, named after his cage falling on the floor his first night with Matt. Aunt Helena nods in understanding.

"Yea, well, Abigail and Aaron were very fun-loving people. So, what brings you here?"

"I was wondering if I can leave my car here, at least until summer." Aunt Helena nods. "Thanks." I look down at my iPhone. "Shi... I'm going to be late."

"Good luck," Aunt Helena and Uncle Mason say as Aunt Helena pushes me out of the door.
