I feel a frown replace my smile. Jessica! Jessica of all people! Why did it have to be her! I'm suddenly frustrated.
"Oh," she says as she turns around. "It's you," she growls. "What are you doing in my room?" I roll my eyes.
"It's not just your room," I explain.
"Well, I requested a private room."
I drop my bag on one of the extra beds. "Well, you did sign up late. They probably had to squeeze you in somewhere." Jessica huffs and sits on her bed.

After a few hours of texting Uncle Mason, I look up from my phone. My roommate is sprawled across her bed, her locks a beautiful brown mess.
Looking away, I look out into the night through the window above my bed. The clear full moon shines back at me. The breeze tickles my nose. I smile.
"Henry!" I hear a voice scream in a whisper. The voice was so clear, it sounded like the voice was in my room.
"Shut up, Rose!" came another voice, that also is close by.
"Hello?" I ask, peering over my shoulder to where the voices were.
"See, she heard you!" the first voice screamed.
"And she heard you!" the other voice yelled back. Curious, I looked around for a voice, but there was no one in the room.
I know I must have imagined the voices, because there is no one in the found besides Jessica and I. I know I'm wrong when the voice continue.
The school really is haunted.
