Chapter 1

It's been 3 months since me and carl have gotten engaged and I couldn't be any happier.

My dad was happy for us which surprised me but Daryl hasn't spoken to me. It's been 3 months and not a word. My dad said that he just needs some time to get used to the idea but I think that's complete bullshit.

I've tried to go into his cell and talk to him but he just sits there. I try to call his name and smile at him when he walks past me but he acts as if I am invisible. It sucks that one of the most important people in my life won't even talk to you, let alone look at you.

Everyone else in the group was very supportive which me and Carl were very great full for. Maggie, Beth and Autumn are trying to plan the whole wedding but I keep trying to tell them that it really isn't necessary. The three of them were out looking for a place that we can get married and they found a clearing in the woods with a pond and a perfect stone/grass bridge leading right over it. It's amazing how even when the world is falling apart we can still find such a beautiful place *picture of what it looks like above*

They ended up going into the woods to a part that none of us explored. They said it's about 15 minutes away from the prison. I haven't seen it yet but they said that they are going to take me there today.

I was just changing into a simple black v-neck shirt, dark wash skinny jeans and combat boots when autumn came in

"Hey" she said coming into me and Carl's cell

"Hey A"

"You almost ready?"

"Yep!" I said as I put my throwing
knives into my booted walking down to the main eating area

"Are you excited?" Autumn asked as we were walking to meet Maggie and Beth down by the fence

"Yeah I'm actually really excited. The way you guys make it seem makes me want to live there" I said with a laugh

"Trust me I would live there if I could" Autumn also said with a laugh

"Ready?!" Maggie called to us

"Yup all set" Autumn called back down to her

"Ok make sure you keep your eyes closed" Beth told me for the 7th time

"Ok ok I will, jeez"

"Ready andddd" Autumn said as she turned me around

"OPEN!" They all called out to me

I opened my eyes and slowly turned around to take it all in

"Oh my god you guys! This is amazing"

"Isn't it beautiful?" Maggie said as she looked at the pond

"It's perfect" I replied

"I can't believe we even found this" Autumn admits

"Thank you guys for everything you've done and are doing for me. It really means a lot, I don't know what I would do without you girls" I said as I pulled them all in for a hug

"What are best friends for?" Autumn said with a smile

I was walking hand in hand in Carl as I took him to our wedding location because he hasn't seen it yet.

"Make sure you keep your closed babe" I told him

"Ok, I will"

"Just a few more steps anddd open" I said with a smile as I saw Carl open his eyes and look around with disbelief
