Crystal struggled against Mari's strings, trying to break free as she could only watch her friend back up in fear from the sight of her mother's sword. "That's..." Allison stopped mid sentence, keeping her guard up. "Yup~! It's your mama's sword. I'll admit, it's really pretty." The childish woman laughed, holding the sword closely.
"YOU'RE NOT WORTHY OF BARING THAT SWORD!" Allison suddenly yelled, running at Mari. She jumped and raised her sword high, slashing at Mari from above. As swift as the wind, Mari brought up the queen's sword to counterattack Allison's air slash. "You gotta be quicker then that to beat me~." Mari chuckled, pulling up a string from her hand.
The strings around Crystal suddenly unraveled. "I'm bored already. You take care of them shade." Mari complained, walking toward the castle. Crystal glanced down at Allison's feet, noticing something out of place. Her shadow was gone, as if it suddenly disappeared in thin air.
"Ally....your shadow-" Crystal was interrupted by the sound of metal clanging. She turned around, only to see Allison blocking an attack from a woman in all black with long claws. She would've died of Allison didn't block the attack from behind.
"You're quick as ever I see." Shade chuckled as Crystal's shadow suddenly wrapped around her, suffocating her like a boa snake. "Can't...breathe..." She said through shaky breath.
Shade chuckled, tightening the shadow's grip. "Honestly, this pathetic excuse is the captain of your royal army? I'm a little disappointed." Allison lashed out at Shade, aiming to stab her in the stomach. "Enough of this foolishness! I demand to know where my mother is!"
Crystal felt it getting harder and harder to breath as her breathing got heavier. She suddenly grabbed part of the shadow with her gauntlet covered hand as she used the last of her strength to try and get the snake like shadow off of her. Her attempts were successful as her shadow seemed to go back in its place, thank goodness it didn't suffocate her to death.
Crystal glanced over to her royal friend and the shadow woman battle it out, they seemed too busy to notice her. 'Why would Mari go in the castle...? Since Ally is busy I'll go investigate.' She thought to herself as she quickly slipped inside of the castle, leaving the two girls to duke it out.
It couldn't hurt just to at least take a peek...right....?
