Chapter 39- The Date

IM BACK BITCHES. FUCKING ENJOY THE OVERDUE CHAPTER. Sorry it took so long. I'm surprised I didn't get death threats XD

*TIME SKIP TO WEDNESDAY NIGHT* <squee>
*SUMMERS POV*

I brushed my fingers through the last bit of my hair and sprayed some hairspray into it. I let out a breath and walked to the full length mirror. I didn't look like myself, and I liked it. I brushed a crease out of my dress. I looked pretty. My hair was in soft curls in half up and half down fancy position shit, I don't know. I don't do this usually. I let out a laugh. "Ah I make myself laugh" I mumbled to myself.

My makeup had been kept to a minimum. Foundation, Mascara and red lipstick. No eyeliner or bronzer shit. What the fuck is that shit even for? It makes your skin even more oily half the time. I glanced down at my dress and shoes. I stared at them in awe. It looked even better on then I thought it would. The dress was red and it went down to my knees. It has thick straps and it was semi tight at the top and got looser as it went down. I wore black heels that only gave me a small height boost. I liked this look; not enough to wear it every day though.

I glanced over at the clock- 5.42pm. Jordan would be back any minute to quickly change. I let out another sigh which felt like the millionth one today. I had this bad gut feeling Jordan didn't want to date me anymore- he's been out for long hours each day and he won't say anything and he'll do anything to avoid the topic. I went out and sat on the couch. I heard a key click into the lock and turn.

*JORDANS POV*

I stepped into the apartment and saw Sum sitting in the couch with her back facing me. Even from this angle I know she looked stunningly beautiful. "Hey" I heard her quiet voice slice through the air. "Hey baby girl" I walked up behind her and hugged her swiftly kissing her check. "I'm going go quickly get changed okay" she nodded and looked down at her lap. I had been out a lot all week and I felt guilty about it. Sum probably thinks I was out cheating on her, but I wasn't. Hopefully my surprise later will prove that to her...

*le time skip to when they're at the restaurant*
*BACK TO SUMMERS POV* <hehehe>

"Wow Sum, this place really is good" Jordan muffled covering his food stuffed mouth. I chuckled at his silliness. I love that man. I poked at my spaghetti and Jordan continued to carve at his rump steak. "This place would have to be better then Olive Garden.... And I love that place" he smiled and reached his hand across the table and grabbed my hand. "I love you" he said solemnly. "I love you too" I said back staring into his eyes. He slowly let go and continued to eat and so did I.

<This is getting fucking boring. TIME SKIP TO THE SURPRISE>

"Come on" Jordan said playfully dragging me onto the sand. "Jordan where are we going you dongle" I laughed. No reply. Hm. We walked until we reached the pier. The whole thing was lit up with fairy lights and I couldn't see what was at the end but it looked promising. "Summer, I'd like to tell you a story; a specific one of a man who moved into a new apartment block- scared of meeting the new neighbours incase they were screaming adoring fans and honestly the last thing he wanted to do was move again. So he went around meeting a couple neighbours but one specific one- a girl- caught his eye and his heart and decided to get to know her. It was all good fun until his anger issues got in the way and nearly forced his love to move back half way around world. She was willing to give this guy she had only spent maybe two weeks getting to know. So off they went together all the way to Australia. They had amazing times together and made so many memories. When they both came back it was ups and downs but they got through it so well they knew nothing could get in their way. So they're time went on and so many amazing and wonderful things happened. It was purely amazing. Then one night Jordan took his love out for their- real first date. Walking along the beach later with Sunmer, Jordan knew he had found the one and they were to be forever and ever and by the end of the night they were so happy nothing could ever knock them down again. The end"

My face was red. It was that red at all the words he said. My lips were stretched into a smile no one could compare to. I loved this man and all his nutty ways. He leaned in for a kiss and I returned it gratefully. "Come- one more surprise" he slightly pulled at my arm and we walked towards the tiny lit up Boardwalk. There were some other people left on the beach but not many. Maybe roughly 35. By the time we got to the start of the pier I found out what the lights were- little fairy lights. It was beautiful. There was something at the far end but it was too far to see.

I felt a nudge on my arm and just before I could turn around music started playing. It was "Sad Song" I felt Jordans presence slip away and I spun around to see everyone that was on the beach had made a little flash mob- but no Jordan to be seen. I bit my lip but instantly could help smiling when instead of the actual person singing it- it was Jordans voice. Just as the chorus came on Jordan came out from the mob and walked up to me once again. With a stack of photos in his hand he begun to slowly walk me down the boardwalk. Showing me one photo at a time. There was all different photos- from the snow, on the plane, going out for walks and even photos I didn't even know he took. The last photo he showed me was a photo he took of us kissing and I honestly loved this photo.

I glanced up from the photo when I felt a nudge on my shoulder. The whole end of the pier was decorated more then the rest and it was beautiful. "Summer," Jordan spoke confidently. I spun around to see him on one knee holding a ring with his index and thumb. Tears formed in my eyes. "I love you with all my heart and I want to protect you with my life. Summer Waters- Will you marry me?" Tears ran down my eyes and my legs felt like they couldn't hold me up any more. I collapsed to my knees and hugged Jordan. I began to slowly nod. "Yes" I mumbled into his ear. He pulled away from the hug and slipped the ring onto my ring finger. "I love you Sum" he mumbled before giving me a passionate kiss. Off in the distance I heard cheering. I smiled into the kiss.
