* just a heads up that I should've included before is that I write this story on my ipod so I am sorry if the chapters are short*
Chapter 2
After we finished introducing each other Kaelyn blindfolded me to bring me to the hunter's headquarters. I should be worried but I'm not.
I finally get to meet a hunter, a vampire hunter to be exact. I guess I'm excited that I'm meeting more hunters and I hope I will get a chance to join them.
I hear the jingle of car keys and hear the doors of a car unlocking. "Duck your head" Kaelyn tells me while pushing my head in the backseat of the car.
After I'm in the seat she closes the door and gets in the drivers seat. I jostle around in my seat since I don't have my seat belt on.
"So, how did you find me?" Kaelyn questioned me while occasionally cursing at the other drivers.
"Actually, it was mostly based on luck." After I said that I started explaining my whole street rat life.
The next thing I know, the car stops and I hit my head on the seat in front of me. "What's going on? Kaelyn?"
I hear groaning sounds coming from the front of the car. "Kaelyn, are you alive? Please tell me your conscious." I asked her with a worried tone. Even though anyone else would act the same way if they were put in my situation.
"I'm fine... I'm not in the best of conditions but we need to get out of here before the police show up."
"Where is here? Are you going to take off my blindfold? How far do we need to walk?" I start spitting question after question.
"Just shut up will you?!"
"B-b-but I can't see what's happening." I try to explain without crying at the same time.
I stay as quiet as i can, straining my ears to hear any sounds.
"Kaelyn? You still with me?"
I hear the faint sounds of someone struggling outside the car and i feel the car shake. I start to worry and the next thing I know, I hear a gun shot and utter silence as the car stops moving.
"Kaelyn!"If somebody asked me, I wouldnt be able to tell them what happened next because i found my vision turning dark as i fell unconscious.
