" Dipity, Dipity, Dipity!!! " Screamed Chess.
I jump to my feet and ran down stairs. I see Chess in the front doorway holding a blanket... No its a pillow... Wait a minute Its a PUPPY!!!! Where the crap did you find a puppy!! I asked her. She tells that she went for a walk on the coast when she woke up. Then she found a drowning animal in the water. She obviously picked it up and brought it here. She says his name is Marshmallow. It looks like a husky puppy but I can't tell exactly. We both go up stairs and bathe the puppy, his loud barking wakes up Sav. She stumbles half asleep into the bathroom, she rubs her eyes and blinks a few times at the puppy. "Ummmm" She says and Chess and I, at the same time say "Yup!!" Sav goes back to her room to get dressed. I go down stairs to see Syd asleep on the couch, I pass by her and go to the kitchen to make breakfast. I call everyone down stairs for blueberry waffles. We sit and eat but Syd was not there, I call again. Nothing, again, not a sound. I go upstairs to her room and no ones there. I ask Sav and Chess if they'd seen her. They say not since last night. I call her cell, nothing. Where could she be!?!? I start to literally lose my mind. I call the girls up stairs, they come running. A waffle still in Savannah's mouth. I tell them about Syd, they try to call her to.....
" Ring, ring, ring!!! " We all pause." Ring, ring, ring!!! " We trudge into Syd's room and I spot her phone on her bed. There's a message. It reads:
" I know were she is..... "
We all look at eachother, we all get a little teary eyed.
