Jaesur, Finn and Eden were hiding up behind a wall. Jaesur risked a peek and saw two guards outside the bank. The building had a neon sign high above that displayed the words, 'Ave Bank'. Jaesur focused on the two guards and took out a sphere from his jacket pocket. It was a silver sphere with a blue line running around it in the middle. A button sat on top of the sphere. When he saw both guards turn, he swung his arm forward and threw the sphere.

"Quick!" Jaesur hissed as he started running towards the bank. The sphere hit one of the guards and the button was pushed.

Finn was already moving forwards, but Eden reacted slower, delaying the team by a few microseconds. Every second counted, or even every millisecond.

The guards froze in place and in time, along with the security cameras attached to the walls of the bank. The guard who was hit by the sphere looked like he was going to fall. Even the gigantic clock on the wall of the bank was frozen. The night sky had clouds staying put and birds were fixed into place in the air. The moon still moved, though.

The team entered the bank in one piece, but they had little time to infiltrate it. The sphere was scooped up by Eden before moving on.

Jaesur wore a brown jacket with a blue T-shirt inside and a pair of blue jeans that covered his ankles. He wore black socks with plain sneakers. The knots tied were messy and looked like they were about to loosen up in time. Besides having another sphere, he was unarmed.

Finn was clad in a bulletproof vest, with his long-sleeved shirt underneath accompanied with a pair of trousers. He wore a helmet with a visor that covered his whole face. The boots he wore was a leather-made one, with a rough surface under his boots. He was armed with a magnum pistol, capable of firing disease-spreading bullets.

Eden was as simple as Jaesur, with a pink T-shirt, the same kind of blue jeans Jaesur was wearing and a pair of slippers. She had long brown hair that would have touched her shoulders if she didn't tie it up into a ponytail.

Jaesur cursed as he looked around. He saw counters surrounding him like water surrounding a peninsula, with employees manned at their stations. Some of them had their mouths open and some had eyes closed. All of them had their hands on their keyboards. That was a similarity they had. Four more guards were spotted at each corner of the area, two behind the counters and two with their backs on the marble wall, just beside the team. Security cameras were, yet again, installed to monitor every inch of the place. The floor, along with the walls, was built in marble. The shiny surface of them meant a slippery one too. A protector should be mindful of these details. Behind the receptionists, there was nothing else. It was like a room with no other doors.

He turned around and hissed at Eden, "You said there was a way! Where is it?!"

Eden raised both her hands in defence. "Wait, wait! I do know a way. Just let me.."

She trailed off as she started off towards the counter and jumped over, careful not to collide into the workers. She landed on the marble floor and continued towards the middle of the wall. She took out what it looked like a tiny ball, as small as a bead, and she stuck it at the wall.

The wall imploded silently and a new path was opened to the team. Jaesur grinned and nodded slowly and Finn was emotionless behind that opaque visor of his. He just stood there with his pistol ready, aimed at the new entrance Eden had made.

Eden stood beside the hole as Jaesur took his position. Finn moved forward. As he entered the hole, Jaesur and Eden followed him. The hole inside was too dark for Jaesur or even Eden to determine the distance of it.

It was dark as a dungeon, if a dungeon did exist. There wouldn't be screams of agonising pain or moans of death. Though, there was a clicking sound at a constant rhythm. Finn held up a clenched fist and the team stopped in their tracks.

"Oh, crap! Run!" Jaesur shouted.

Time flowed regularly now. The guard outside picked up the sphere, not knowing what it was when the guard registered a scream from inside.

At the end of the path, there was a shining light. Then, the explosion happened.

It shot right through Jaesur, Eden and Finn. And the whole bank was destroyed in a second by the explosion.

The heat was enough to incinerate anything in its vicinity, probably about a few hundred metres in diameter.

In the end, the bank was removed from the picture in a flash. It was like the bank wasn't even there anymore, along with the lives of everyone in it. Though, a large patch of dirt that was under the bank revealed itself to the moonlight. Later that day, the incident was all over the news.
