"Hey, when are you going?" Derek asked as Emilia changed into her favourite dress. It was a red dress from top to bottom, with soft frills covering her kneecaps. She wore a pair of 4-inch red high heels that matched her dress. On her face was a pair of shades that had red tinted lens fixed in it. To add to the body of a scarlet colour, she was a redhead, having wavy hair fall over her shoulder.

"Wait a moment," Emilia replied. Her lips were red of lipstick, and when she stepped out of Derek's and Emilia's room, she looked stunning to Derek's eyes. He wore a tuxedo, with a bowtie at his neck, a white shirt underneath the dull black jacket that had sleeves reaching up to Derek's wrist. For someone his size, the tuxedo was of a moderate size, just to fit Derek. He was a few centimetres taller than the elegant and beautiful Emilia.

"Wow, look at you, all tall and mighty," Emilia said alluringly, with her devilish grin. "But really, you're just a weenie," She laughed out loud while Derek just sighed and took her hand. Even her nails were polished crimson. He swore that Emilia could have worshipped anything red.

The room Derek was in had a white sofa that could fit both Derek and Emilia, but no one else. A television sat on a dark green table with space to store discs inside. The floor was covered with a carpet surface, soft to the touch. There was a light bulb emitting a bright light and illuminating the room. It was so bright that the couple couldn't stand staring at it for more than a second. They did bet on it, but they both gave up. The bookshelves standing at a corner were all Derek's favourite books. Emilie had no interest in reading books, especially non-fictional books. She claimed she would be bored to death with them. Instead, she watched movies and often forced Derek to come along. Most of the movies had adventure and action elements in them, but Derek wasn't into them too much. Curtains veiled the windows and preventing most of the light from penetrating, but they didn't do a good job with that. Instead, a crimson-like light would fill the room if it was day and the light bulb was turned off. One of Emilia's suggestions.

Derek twisted the doorknob and pushed the door open, forcing Emilia to keep up with him to his car.

The white car was bland and without interesting features. He knew Emilia hated it, but it served its purpose; bringing him and his girlfriend to their destination. The interior was plain as well, with cheap-looking material used to make the seats. The car was an auto, which, to Derek's ease, was easy to handle and control. The steering wheel was covered with the same material as the seats.

"Get to the other side," Derek muttered, as he took out his car keys and inserted one of them into the ignition lock cylinder and turned it clockwise. He waited for a moment while Emilia pulled the door open, sat quickly and shut the door.

"Um.." Emilia said as she frowned. "Do you have the sphere with you?" She was looking at Derek and he nodded, though without checking his pockets.

"Oh, c'mon. Let me check," She insisted as she leant over to him, her hands reaching his side pockets.

"Hey! Watch it!" Derek exclaimed. His hands were in the air, waiting for Emilia to make sure the sphere was there. She searched and stopped at a certain pocket with a slight bulk in his trouser pocket. He watched her nod, and then went back to her seat.

He shook his head slightly and looked slightly above, showing a 'what-was-that-about' expression. Emilia ignored him as he started the engine and pulled off of their house.

It took them about an hour to reach a restaurant that was about fifty kilometres away from home. Derek had argued with Emilia over the directions and was confused by what Emilia meant.

"No, you dumbass! Go left!" She shouted with hands signalling him to turn left, but when in reality, the restaurant was somewhere to the right side.
