Ellison Kim, your best friend and suitor, was on his way to your classroom to surprise you. It's October 5 today, your friendship's 3rd anniversary. You're currently having History class, and Eli knows it's your most hated subject. He used to always listen to you whining about how boring the subject and your teacher is. But this time he knows from now on you'll LOVE history class and your history teacher, too.
He ran from the left side of the campus to the other building, where your classroom is located. Grade 7K. Yes, finally here. He thought to himself. He stood in front of the teacher's door, looking through the small glass opening on it before knocking.

You were scribbling notes on your notebook while the 'Most Boring Teacher in the World' (as you liked to call him) discussed about Korea's history. You hate History. Past is past, you always say. So why study about our country's past? You thought it was absolutely foolish.
Then your best friend, Eli, came into your mind. He likes History. You remembered the days where you kept whining to him about the particular subject every lunch time. Then he'll oppose what you said and you'll start arguing. History is always the reason for your fights. Another reason why you despise it. You two make up after 5 minutes anyway so you're still best friends after all these years. You also remembered the day he confessed - the day you grew distant from each other.
"Hyo, I have something to tell you." Eli said with a huge grin plastered on his face. The two of you were sitting at the edge of the hanging bridge where you used to meet up, swinging your feet back and forth. "Yeah?" You returned a smile. He turned to face you then cupped your cheeks.
"Hyo....I lov-"
Your flashback was interrupted by a knock on the classroom door. The teacher excused himself and attended to the visitor. You looked down on the notes on your notebook only to see the whole page filled with Eli's name. Was I writing his name unconsciously? You immediately tore the page off from your notebook.
You realized all your classmates got up from their seats and ran to the door, forming a path from the door to you. Your professor took your hand and assisted you in standing up. You looked at him and he simply gave you a wink. What's happening?
"Baby....I wanna make you mine. I imagine us cuddling on the bed, waiting for the rain to stop pouring." You heard someone rap form the door. You stepped forward, in between the two lines of students. To your shock, you saw Eli enter the door with a microphone in his hand. He walked towards you then held your cheek, his eyes locked on yours. "Hyo, you're my sunshine, my only sunshine. You're the drug I badly need without you I would be insane."
"Ellison...." You managed to whisper.
He pushed his pointing finger slightly against your lip, shutting you up. "Baby you don't need to speak. I don't need you to say you love me back. Because you're all I need. You're all I want."
"Baby stay with me, I won't ever hurt you. I won't ever let you go. You're mine and I'm yours. It's only us against the world. If the sky falls, we'll stand tall and face it together."
"I'm lucky I'm in love with my best friend..." By that line, you were already tearing up. You couldn't handle the intense feeling sprawling in your veins. "We have history together. A history we can treasure. I know you more than anyone else. Everything about you, makes me love you more. Every flaw you have, I love them all."
"I won't let these little things slip out of my mouth. Because all those things are what makes you beautiful. You have this one thing that I need, one thing I'm living for."
"Baby let me have you and let me be yours." And with that, his rap ended. He let his arm fall to his side,the other still raised and holding your cheek.
"Eli...what do you mean?" You asked as you cried. He wiped the stray tear off with his thumb. "I love you, Hyo. Please be my girlfriend." He mumbled quickly and nervously. "What did you say?" You asked again. He sighed and knelt. "I love you, Hyo." He said slowly. "Please be my girlfriend." He took your hand and kissed the back of it.
"I heard you the first time. Just wanted to sugar-coat it." You said and smiled cockily. "I love you too, Eli. I love you so much and I want to be your girlfriend. As long as you become mine."
"Sure baby. I'll take that as a yes." Eli smiled and carried you in his arms before running out of the classroom, your classmates and professor throwing flower petals at you.
