6:Now you see me. Now you dont

The next morning questions filled the room.
"So let me get this straight. A group of kids from your school rented a party bus on prom night got drunk and ran you over along with your daughter." Alejandra said as she paced back and forth.
"Yeah, that sounds about right. The problem is I don't know which kids." I replied.
Fany looked at me and asked," So how are we supposed to find out."
Eddie thought to himself and said," what if we went back? We go to your school, blend in, and find out who hit you. We'll be like spies."
I looked at him as if he was crazy. "Spies? That's your plan? Are you serious, is he serious?"
"It's actually not a bad plan Cedric. It could work."
I turned to fany and asked if she truly believed it could work. She nodded her head yes. Just like that we hit the road. The feeling was surreal, going back home. I might finally get revenge,no, JUSTICE after all. When we had finally gotten home I felt it proper to have a discussion first. I wanted to make it clear that if anyone wants out they need to say it now. They stood in silence.
"So that's it. Everyone is in."
We drove to school. You should have seen the look on their faces each one of these bastards looked guilty. I sat in my chair as Ms. Torres announced the new students.
"Class we have a few new students this is eddie lopez, Estefany Peña, And Alejandra Torres. Now will anyone be nice enough to show them around."
I raised my hand, all was going accordingly. They sat next to me and smiled. We gave our fake introductions and let the teacher proceed.
"Oh and class don't forget I have the link for the year book pictures, so come and get it."'
It appears that fate will have smiled upon me once more. Those pictures could lead me to the people. It was slim but still very possible.
Class ended and fany walked up to the front desk and asked for the link to prom photos. She was the most innocent looking of us all.
" I'm trying to join the year book. Those shots my help me make it."
Couldn't have been more convincing myself. Fany was an evil genius.
At lunch time we sat and looked at the photos and the first one seemed very peculiar.
" Jessyca?"
Eddie turned to me, "You know her."
"She's a freshman here and my ex."
"If she's a freshman why was she at prom?"
"I don't know but its time I find out. Meet me at home. I have a plan."
There were a few freshman with dates at the prom but what the hell was she doing there?
I had run into Jess later that day.
"It's good to see you D where have you been."
"Its a long story. But I'd like to tell you about it. come over my place?"
She said yes and walked away. As I started to walk to class Alejandra appeared beside me and asked, "What are you planning to do?"
I stopped and looked her in her eyes.
"Well Ale, lets just say if tonight turns out the way I think it will I'm going to need you to be very close to me. "
At the end of our sixth period the teacher asked for suggestions on the next senior activity.
The room quaked with dumb ideas as girls yelled out shopping mall and guys yelled basketball games.
Out of the blue Fany raised her hand.
"How about a camping trip."
"A camping trip huh? I like it lets do it. This friday."
The teacher agreed and dismissed the class.
"Fany what's with the suggestion."
She gave a sinister giggle and said, "I have a plan." She laughed aloud.
Later on that night Jessyca came over as I suggested.
"Hey."
"Hey, I'm glad you're here. Come on in."
I walked her over to the couch and sat her down.
"Have a drink."
She looked skeptical. "You're giving me a drink?"
"It's apple cider."
She took the glass and laughed. "Oh."
I put down the glass and looked in her eyes. "I really wanted to talk to you. I've been wanting to ask you something."
"Ask me whatever you want."
"Do you love me?"
She looked to answer but I interrupted her before she could.
"Will you be honest with me?"
"Yes."
"What were you doing at prom?"
She seemed shocked at the question and stuttered as she tried to answer.
"I.... I went for you."
"You're lying. You knew I'd never go."
"I went with dajia. She invited me to drive up their with her."
"Were you drinking?"
"No!"
"WERE YOU DRINKING!!"
She began to cry, "yes I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."
I looked at her and wiped her face.
"I believe you." She smiled and I told her. "We never did see eye to eye about the alcohol. "

Alejandra walked in and Jessyca looked up at her. "Who are you?"
Ale stood with her hands behind her back and said, "I am the magician you're lovely friend booked to entertain you. And for my first trick I'm going to make every thing you see in this room disappear."
"How are you going to do that?"
"Are you ready Ms.?"
Jessyca nodded her head and Alejandra smiled, "well now you see me..."
Alejandra pulled two knitting needles from her behind her and plunged them into jessycas eyes and finished,"Now you don't."
Screams echoed through the house like a bass drum. Finally she passed out.
"So Cedric what you going to do with her By the way nice job on the eye jokes ."
"She's your doll ale get her all gussied up she needs to look presentable for Friday."
