4: Step 1 The escape

After a night of watching saw and eating our weight in hot Cheetos we came up with the perfect plan. Well almost perfect.
She looked at me and said, "Cedric this plans too big for two people."
"So what do we do? Change the plan? Give up?"
"No all I'm saying is we need help."
"And how the hell are we supposed to do that?"
She gave that sinister yet adorable smile and said, " That my friend, you leave to me."
A bell went off and it was time for lunch. As me and Fany walked through the halls I asked, "So who did you have in mind."
She laughs and says,"You're about to find out, Just follow my lead. Trust me."
I walked in front of her and stopped her. "I don't trust anybody."
She laughs and pinches my cheek. "Oh darling, we are planning to commit mass murder, you have to trust me. Come along now."
She started walking again and I replied, "yeah you're right I trust you."
She walked me into the cafeteria and to a table. At the table sat two people a man and a woman. When we got to the table the woman jumped up and yelled, "Fany!!!"
"Ale!!!"
They both hugged each other and we sat down.
"Fany who's your friend?"
"Alejandra, Eddie this is Cedric. Cedric this is Alejandra and Eddie or as I like to call them a match made in hell."
I shook Alejandra's hand and noticed a tattoo on her forearm. "Beauty stops here."
"You noticed my tat did you."
"What's it mean."
"Reminder of why I'm here."
She went on to explain her high school time and how people used to make fun of her. She said that everyone called her ugly freshman year but junior and senior year she finally became confident and felt beautiful.
"This tattoo reminds me that beauty is only skin deep. I'm beautiful in my opinion."
"Mine too." Estefany added.
"Baby you're gorgeous"
She looked at Eddie, kissed him and said thank you.
I looked at them and said ," they aren't lying but with that being said how does a beautiful person like you end up in here?"
"Well one day I was in class putting on make up and this girl said no matter how much I changed I was always going to be an ugly duckling. You know a person can only take so much. So I gouged out her eyes. Ripped them completely out of her sockets."
Alejandra seemed... Pleasant to say the least.
I turned my attention to Eddie her boy friend. I shook his hand and asked, "What's your story?"
Fany looked at me and told me, "Eddie was planning to join the navy but on the day of his psych evaluation, his best friend Alexis was shot in front of him. Eddie went to his evaluation completely in shock replaying the image in his head."
"So what did you do to get here that's not enough to get you locked up."
"I shot the evaluator. henceforth my tattoo, visionary. I live through what I see. " Eddie replied
"Well my daughter died that's how I ended up in here now I need a way out."
Eddie looked at me,"You want us to help you escape?"
Fany looked at all three of us and said, "No. We want you to come with us. We're going to find the people who killed his daughter."
Eddies eyes opened with grief, " You sir have been dealt a great injustice. I'll be happy to assist you."
"Me too." Alejandra added.
Eddie reached into his back pocket and pulled out a piece of paper.
"Luckily I already have a plan. You see the key to this is speed."
"So what's the plan Eddie?
A strange man walked by and said, "you know who had a plan ... Hitler" and he walked off. It was creepy.
"That's oscar forget him. Any way the plan is to entice a riot and escape through the east wing because they're are no guards there."
I stopped him, "Whoa. What's in the east wing."
They stood in silence and looked at each other then back at me and answered, " The cemetery."
Eddie continued on about the plan "Three of us will be at the entrance to the east wing while one stays behind to take the CO'S keys. Cedric I'm betting that's going to be one of us. Flip a coin?"
" I don't have a coin."
"Shit!"
"Rock paper scissors?"
He looked at me and said "sure why not."
We looked at each other
"Rock paper scissors... Shoot!"
I lost.
"Well Cedric you're going to have to take the CO down and get to the wing in 4 minutes."
"What happens in four minutes?"
"The lock down gates close in the asylum if you aren't at the wing in time the plan fails."
"I'll make it but how are we going to start a psych riot."
Eddie looked at me and said, " its easy just throw your Trey at that big guy right there when we walk out the room and run. "
I looked at them and began to panic, "we're doing this now."
Alejandra said, "Its now or never."
Fany saw that I looked worried and felt like the plan was a bit rushed. "Cedric relax we're going to get out of here and find out what happened to malia. Just stick to the plan."
"Fany its a bad plan." I said nervously.
"Trust me. It'll work do it for malia. I'll see you on the wing buddy. "
With that they left and said good luck. As per instructions I took my Trey and threw it at the target. Immediately all hell broke loose. A CO chased after my friends and I chased after him. All the other officers were busy trying to contain the riot.
I heard Fany yell out, "HE'S GOING TO CATCH US."
I had finally caught up to them when I heard the officer yell out, "FREEZE!!"
My friends sat facing a bullet, eddie pointed out that the officer couldn't shoot all three of them. And as he got ready to pull the trigger, I crept behind him, and a loud bang entered the air as glass shattered on his Head after I had taken a vase to it. As the unconscious corpse dropped I took his keys and ran to the entrance.
Alejandra went back to the corpse and dragged him forward a few feet. I wondered why but then the lockdown gate began to creep closer to the floor and in doing so crushing the CO's skull.
"Well that was unpleasant. What was that for ale."
She looked at me and said," I caught him looking at me in the shower."
I unlocked the door and we ran outside, with that we had escaped into the woods.
