A Relationship To Remember

Good decisions can be scary...

***AVERY'S POV***

It wasn't a normal day by any means. Jeremy was acting weirder than usual, teachers were jumping my arse on homework assignments that I already turned in. Just things that didn't normally happen on a daily basis.

I go on through school ignoring everything around me. To tell you a little about myself, I love school to a point but I hate the people there. I have grown up with anxiety and depression problems due to family issues. I have a beautiful little girl who is my whole world. Her father and I split because he got into stuff I didn't approve to be around a child. I went off the deep end for a while until I found Jeremy. After our first initial meeting in I grew to like him as a friend. he was funny, sweet, goofy, and an all around great person. He knew I was a mom which made it even better, 'cause he didn't care. I started to grow feelings for him slowly but surely.

(back to present) That night I was texting him. It bugged me that since we were such close friends already that he wouldn't tell me the girl he had a crush on. I wanted to play match maker and set them up. "I'm not gonna tell you," texted Jeremy. "well why not? not like I'm going to make fun of you." "I cant tell you..." "Pleeeeeeease tell me? I'm your best friend and you know you can tell me anything." Going through my mind, watch it be me. Little did I know... "Fine, it's you Avery..." "what??" I was in total shock. "see! I knew this would happen! Now it's going to be awkward between us..." Throughout his mini freak out I was texting Sarah everything in the conversation. She knew that I liked him and she told me to just go for it. I was terrified she would be mad at me because Jeremy is her ex but she didn't have a care in the world. She told me to just take a chance for love just one more time and that if he hurt me she would personally cut off his dick and staple it to his forehead. I then texted him just one simple word. "Yes." He replied, "huh???" "Yes I like you too. Yes I will go to homecoming with you. Yes I will be your girlfriend."

Sometimes the best things to happen to you will be one of the scariest decisions you will make.
