Lucas
I lay here watching Riley sleep. She has an appointment scheduled with the doctor about the baby. I drift back off to sleep.
Riley
I wake up and detangle myself from Lucas. I put on my long sleeve Areopostal shirt And My sort spandex shorts and toss my hair into a sloppy bun. I'm craving pancakes so I check the cabinet for the ingredients.
I start frying them and I feel arms wrap around my waist and lips on my neck.
"morning beautiful. " Lucas says against my neck. His voice is raspy and full of sleep, it sounds adorable.
"morning cutie. " i giggle "how'd you sleep?" i ask
"well I didn't get to sleep until...five in the morning? And it's eleven now. So... Ehh. " he says.
"you complaining? " i ask
"never. " he says kissing my neck again
"good. " i smile
I grab two plates and put the two pancakes on them. I put butter and syrup on each.
"here." i say handing Lucas his plate.
"thank you. " he smiles.
I eat mine and put the plate in the dishwasher. Lucas Is at the table, still eating. I jump up and sit on the counter. He slowly gets up and puts his plate in the dishwasher and walks over to me.
"i love you. " he says while kissing my nose
"i love you." i giggle
"what time is the appointment? " he ask
"its at four. " i say
"I'm going. " he says
"okay. " i smile.

"Riley Matthews. " the woman calls
I grab Lucas' hand and walk trough the door.
"Riley. " Lucas wispers in my ear.
"Lucas, I feel dizy. " i say with a sudden light headedness
"Riley. " he repeats
"yeah?" i ask
"look at your pants. " he says
I look down seeing blood bleeding trough.
"Mrs. " i say
And it goes dark.
