It all started with a crush

(Daniel's POV)

So it has been forever like what 3 years? Pish-ya anyway I have edited the last few chapters and I am ready to start on this new one hope you all enjoy!

I got sent to the principal's office just for trying to have a debate with my teacher. On my way there someone walked right into me. It was none other than Kelly who was covered in blue goo.

" Are you alright?" I asked.

She slowly looked up at me and glared. Her eyes treated to unleash the waterfall of tears she was holding in.

"Do I look like I'm ok? Huh?" she said "And what are you going to do? Are you going to tell me that I look awful? That I could use some tips on how to look hotter? Is that why you want to be my 'friend'? To make me into one of your mindless fan girls? Well let me tell you, you ha---"

I brought her into a hug.

She froze. She did not reciprocate the hug.

" All I asked was if you were okay. You seem upset and I want to make you feel better that's all."  I said.  

Past her tears she had a hard glare

" You really hate me don't you?"

" You have no idea." 

" Why do you hate me so much? What have I done to you? Please tell me." 

She paused and looked stunned at me.

" You really want to know?"

" Yes I do"

" You have always gone out of your way to embarrass me. Every time I think that we could ever be friends you and your goonies always pull the rug from under me and I always land on my ass."

" But I--"

" Oh I'm not done yet. You always think that I am some person that you can easily manipulate into thinking that I am 'Just going through an initiation test'. But I call bull on that. You know why I am blue today? Umm?  Well its because your friends thought it would be funny to put me 'back' in my place when I never left in the first place."

" But--" 

"Everything wrong that has happened to me is because of you so just stay away from me."

She shoved me aside and stormed off. 

 I wanted to rush after. Stop her dead in her tracks and kiss her and tell her that I loved her. I wanted her to throw her arms around my neck and tell me that she was waiting for me all this time. 

But that's something only in the movies. 

I watched her walk away from me.

I don't know what possessed me but I ran after her but I did.

" Kelly wait!"

She glared at me and walked faster. I ran in front of her to stop her from walking.

" HowcanIprovetoyouthatI'mnotthatperson?" I panted 

"What?"

" How can I prove to you that I'm not that person and never was? How can I prove to you that I want to be with you... as a friend?"

She pushed me aside. 

" Didn't you hear anything I just said? I. DON'T. WANT. YOU. AROUND. ME!"She yelled 

I gripped her shoulders and looked her in the eyes " Listen everything you side was some what true. But the truth is  I do want to be your friend. I do want to get to know you. And your right every time we get to be neutral and friendly shit hits the fan and I am sorry about that.  My 'friends' only want what they want for me and block out anything I want. And I am truly sor-"

"Hey"  said  an unfamiliar voice.  "Kelly.. Are you okay?" 

" She is fine" I snapped at the stranger, "We are trying to have a private conversation here so please leave"

I was taken aback with how firm my voice was. Kelly looked at me in disgust. 

"You just like all of them."

"Kelly I didn't mean-"

" Actually the conversation has just ended Johnny" Kelly shrugged my hands off of her shoulders and walked away with that Johnny  guy.  

My head hung low as I shuffled back the principal's office. 

With my head in the movies but without the girl.
