Jason's pov

I'm not looking forward to her going out with this guy. I drop her off. "Call me when ya need me to come get you." "Sure thing bro. Thanks." She says, hugging me. I nod.

Miranda's pov

Joe opens the door for me at the resturaunt. "Your brother is pretty intimidating." He says. I sigh. "Don't let him scare you off." He smiles. "I won't. Joe Gatto isn't afraid of anything!" He says, making me laugh. "You're so funny!" I gasp, laughing. I dread having to leave New York for the rest of the tour. After we eat, we walk central park by the light of the moon.

Joe's pov

I have to ask her to stay here in New York with me. I hold her hand while we look at the calm water. "Hey Miranda, stay with me in New York. I don't want you to go." I say, kissing her. "I don't either. I just have to tell Jason. He's not gonna be happy." I chuckle. "You're a grown woman. You don't have to follow your brother." She laughs. "That's one of his song titles." She says, surprising me. I shrug and kiss her again. "So what do ya say?" She smiles up at me as I wrap an arm around her. "I'm staying. I love you Joe." "I love you too, honey."

*the next day*

Jason's pov

"All packed? Our next destination is Kansas. I might stop by-" "Jason, I'm not going." She cuts me off. My jaw drops in shock. "Wait! What do you mean you aren't going!?" I gape. "I'm staying here. With my boyfriend." "B-But you can't! I can't just-" "Jason, I'll be fine." She holds her suitcase. I'm not very happy about this but I can't stop her. I hug her, not wanting to let go. "Are you gonna be okay?" She asks. "Y-Yeah. Just don't forget to come visit me in Nashville. Don't forget about your older brother." "Of course not Jay. You're the best. I'm gonna miss you." I hear a car horn honk. "That's Joe. I Gatto go." She jokes. I laugh and hug her goodbye.

Joe's pov

I put her suitcase in my trunk. "How'd he take it?" I ask. "He's not happy but he's not mad. Just upset that I'm growing up." She says, smiling. I kiss her forehead. "I'm gonna go say goodbye." She gets in the truck as I go inside. He's strumming and tuning his guitar. "Hey Jason." He turns around. "Oh hey man. How's it going?" "Fine. I'm glad you're not mad about her wanting to stay with me." He smiles and sets down the guitar. "You make her happy. Just make sure you treat her right and we ain't gonna have any problems." He says, shaking my hand. "I promise I will." We talk for a little bit longer then his phone rings. "Hey that's Mike. I gotta get on the road. See ya for the holidays?" I nod and wave.

*one week later*

I walk out to do my turn in the now challenge. I unravel the paper. Tickle someone. "Oh jeez guys are you tryin' to get me punched?" I gripe. They laugh. I sit on a park bench by a guy. "Now." Sal says. I sigh and tickle his side. He looks at me like I'm a freak. Thank my friends. I finish that then go back to the camera room. "Glad that's over." I mutter. Murr's on my phone, his eyes wide and his jaw dropped. "What's going on?" He hands me the phone. It's Miranda. "Hey babe, what's up?" I realize she's been crying. Oh no! "Jason's bus had a wreck. I need you to drive me to Kentucky." "Of course babe. I'm on my way!" I gasp. "Keep us updated." Q says. "Will do, thanks guys." I quickly run out the door.

Miranda's pov

Joe drives me. "Thanks." "Of course baby." He says, kissing my forehead as I go in the room. He's at least awake. I breathe a relieved sigh. "Oh Jason, I'm so glad you're okay." I say, waking over. He smiles. "Yeah I'm fine. Just my leg is hurting. How are the guys in the band? Are they okay?" I sit beside his bed. "Rich and Kurt are but Tully is in the intensive care. They say he'll be okay though soon." "Thank Goodness." Joe opens the door. "Hey man, you okay?" He asks. "Yeah it takes a lot to knock me down." He jokes. "I'm gonna call the guys. They were worried." Joe says, pulling out his phone. As he calls Sal, Murr, and Q, Jason looks over at him. "Your boyfriend is cool. I am so glad you guys met." I hug him, tears in my eyes. "Careful sis, still sore." He says. I laugh and walk over to Joe. "Hey baby." He says, hugging me. "I'm gonna get us a hotel. We can stay here til he gets better." "Oh you're the sweetest Joe." He smiles and kisses me again. He waves to Jason and leaves. I sit beside his bed. "Need me to get anything?" I ask. He smiles. "Just your glasses. Have you been wearing them?" I blush. "Yeah, I was just in a rush to make sure you were okay that I forgot to grab them. Joe says I look beautiful with them on or off." "Yes you do. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." "And Joe has a pretty good eye." I joke. He laughs. "I'm gonna take a nap. I'm pretty beat. Go on home with Joe." I nod and go to Joe's car. "Hey baby." "Jay's gonna be fine. He told us to go on home." "If you say so." So we drive back to New York.
