There she was, standing right infront of me wearing a long gold dress accompanied by gold jewellery and long black curls which looked similar to my own.

"yes we did" my master said breaking my rushing thoughts "this is kaydence " he said motioning to me,

I bowed down wanting to seem professional "its nice too meet you your majesty ".

the pain and sorrow in her eyes was beyond noticeable "pleasure to meet you" she replied acting as a queen should.

"may we get started on war plans your majesty?" i asked, I didn't want her to see me as weak or worse, get attached.

"of course, follow me" she said turning and walking up a large staircase made of old mahogany, much like the rest of the palace. As we reached to top she turned right and walked ten doors along "here we are" she said as we stepped into a large room which resembled a library but had desks and tables, the largest of which located in the middle surrounded by dark oak chairs. The table was covered in maps and letters. Which were of course from spy's in enemy territory.

"how many people do you have in your army your majesty?" i asked touching a map that looked like it was of the neighbouring kingdom.

"in total about ten thousand" she replied, sitting on the largest chair located at the end of the table.

"how many years of training has each of them had?" training was extremely important to my guild, to use if you weren't correctly trained you were only good as a maid or a servant, we pride ourselves on the warriors we become.

"i..it depends on the age I suppose " she responded. I guess she wasn't use to being spoke to as an equal.

"if you don't mind your majesty I would like to take a look at your training grounds as soon as possible" i said whilst looking over all of the maps, whoever drew these needs to learn how to mark things properly.

"o...of course" she spoke as she stood up, motioning for me and master to follow her.

It took a few minutes to have to training camps in sight, you could here the trainers yelling orders to the soldiers. As soon as I could properly see the recruits I noticed how sloppy each of their strikes were, the could barely fight of a damn goat. As we made our way into the camps every recruit and trainer bowed down to the Queen. The barracks were made out of wood, with swords, axes and bows littering the weapon racks.

"gentlemen this is kaydence, shes gonna help us win the war" as she said this all eyes sharply turned towards me, I don't think the want to be led by a female.

"y..your majesty, did you say she?" asked the trainer looking at the Queen in disbelief.

"yes captain. And if any of you have a issue with it I'm sure she's up for a fight " she said looking confident.

"I'd like to take that fight!" a tall blonde male stood up, looking far to bold for his own good. " Samuel you know what happened last time..." their trainer said looking at the blonde like he was a complete idiot"

"Its okay, I'd like to show you how fight and train properly"
I spoke up looking at the blonde with a smirk on my face.......he's going down.
