chapter eight- the proof

As he walked towards me I assessed him very closely, tall, buff, and seemingly stupid. The perfect attack you be something to do with his feet or hands. While I viewed him he walked closer to me, eyeing me up, as soon as he got into my fireing line I ducked down and spun my legs at his feet, tripping him, while he was in mid air I spun around and aimed my other leg into his head, causing him to fly the other way and land on the ground with a thud.

" rule number one of any fight you ever have, an enemy can come from all sides, no matter what" i stated while I turned towards the rest of the recruits while they all had gaping mouths. "training starts tomorrow, I will not go into war with egotistical males". I turned to the Queen"your majesty I would like to view where I will be sleeping during my stay" i asked and she nodded, seemingly dumb struck " of course" she replied " if you wish you can stay in the castle" she stated " i would prefer to stay somewhere closer to the barracks m'lady".

"o..oh of course" she replied."follow me".

As i sat on the bed in the room given to me, I took it as my chance to take my cloak off, it always felt food to be free after having to hide my face. I didn't cover it for other people's benefit but for my own, I don't want to be judged so harshly by people that should have no say in the way I look, but sometimes their words do get to me and sometimes they won't go away.
I see scars of proof that your strong, scars don't just appear you have to have been through something to get them and you got through that.

Halfway through my train of thought there was a knock on my door.

"kaydence it's your master, we still have to continue training."
He said making sure not to open my door, our people were very private and don't like to be walked in on.

"give me a few moments please master" i replied, placing my cloak back on. It looks like my training is going to be a tad bit harsher than usual.
