*Flashback*

"The song I've chosen for you to sing this week is Ella Henderson, Ghost"

*Flashback Over*

I am so nervous, I'm the first to perform. And I'm on in less than 5 minutes. I was stood at the back of the stage ready to walk on when the lights go dark. I checked my outfit one last time, a black cut out skater dress, black heel boots, and an array of bracelets and rings(picture above).

"So Dannii, which of your acts is performing first?" Luke asked.

"Well, she is one of the youngest in this competition, singing Ghost by Ella Henderson, give it up for our teen heart breaker, Rachel Johnson!"Dannii said.

The crowd cheered loudly as I got into position in the dark. This is it, I thought.

"I keep going to the river to pray

Cause I need something that can wash out the pain

And at most I'm sleeping all these demons away

But your ghost, the ghost of you
It keeps me awake

My friends had you figured out
Yeah, they saw what's inside of you
You tried hiding another you
But your evil was coming through

These eyes sitting on the wall
They watch every move I make
Bright light living in the shade
Your cold heart makes my spirit shake

I had to go through hell to prove I'm not insane
Had to meet the devil just to know his name

And that's when my love was burning
Yeah, it's still burning

I keep going to the river to pray
'Cause I need something that can wash out the pain
And at most I'm sleeping all these demons away
But your ghost, the ghost of you
It keeps me awake

I keep going to the river to pray
'Cause I need something that can wash out the pain
And at most I'm sleeping all these demons away
But your ghost, the ghost of you
It keeps me awake

Each time that I think you're gone
I turn around and you're creeping in
And I let you under my skin
Guess I love living in the sin

Oh you never told me
True love was gonna hurt
True pain I don't deserve
Truth is that I never learn

I keep going to the river to pray
'Cause I need something that can wash out the pain
And at most I'm sleeping all these demons away
But your ghost, the ghost of you
It keeps me awake

I keep going to the river to pray
'Cause I need something that can wash out the pain
And at most I'm sleeping all these demons away
But your ghost, the ghost of you
It keeps me awake

Give up the ghost
Give up the ghost
Give up the ghost
Stop the haunting baby

Give up the ghost
Give up the ghost
Give up the ghost
No more haunting baby

I keep going to the river

I keep going to the river to pray
'Cause I need something that can wash out the pain
And at most I'm sleeping all these demons away
But your ghost, the ghost of you
It keeps me awake

I keep going to the river to pray
'Cause I need something that can wash out the pain
And at most I'm sleeping all these demons away
But your ghost, the ghost of you
It keeps me awake"

The crowds screams was all I could hear as I took my headphone out of one ear.

Luke joined me on stage.

"How did that feel?" He asked me.

"It was fun. Really fun." I replied.

"Let's see what the judges have to say"

Guy started, "What a great performance to kick the night of. I really think you could win this, you have the voice, the moves and the looks."

"Thanks" That was a really great feedback. I think...

"I walked past the rehearsal room the other day, and some of the notes sounded a little pitchy, but today you came out and killed it"

"Thanks James"

"I've been watching you from the start," Chris started, that doesn't sound creepy at all, "and you have such a big voice, and you're also very talented, not only with singing, but with those shoes as well. I mean, how do you prance around the stage with shoes like that."

"Rachel, you look gorgeous tonight honey, and you nailed those notes. I'm extremely proud of you" Dannii said.

"Thanks so much"

"Well if you want to see Rachel next week in the competition, all you have to do is call 8977281 (Some random number, apologies if it's yours, which is highly unlikely), or SMS 'RACHEL' to 191 777" Luke said as I walked of stage.

I was bombarded in hugs as I got backstage. I got to the three boys, I would like to call my best friends on this show, and hugged them. When I hugged Jakob , it felt different, like sparks flew. It sounds cheesy, I know.

Suddenly, my phone exploded with notifications from twitter to Instagram to texts, mostly just congratulating me on my performance.

"Good Luck out there" I said to everyone before their performance.

Hopefully people vote for me so I can stay for another week.
