Chapter 6

"Are you sure you have everything? Your hair brush? Your toothbrush? Your-"

"Yes mum I have everything" I said.

"Just making sure." Dad said.

"Bye. I love you guys. I have to go now" I said hugging them both before making my way over to where I saw the rest of the girls in my category.

"Hey Rachel." Madison said when I got to them.

"Hey guys. Do you know where we are going?" I ask. I've never been overseas, and I'm really excited.

"Nope" Michaela.

After a few minutes of us just talking about random things Michaela yelled out: "What are you guys doing here?" making me turn around to see the rest of the categories here as well. Next thing you know, it's a hug fest and everyone's hugging each other. I like hugs.

"Hey guys I got something for you." An air hostess lady said handing us a black i-pad.

"Can everyone see?" Someone asks. We all mumble a yes in response.

"Hey there everyone, congratulations, you have made it through to the top 20." Dannii started and we all cheered.

"I bet by now you clever kids have figured out you are all together for one special reason" Chris continued.

"This year it's super home visits." Guy said.

"You're all going to the same location..." James added.

"London!" They all yelled.

"WOO!" we all cheered. I can't believe we're going to London.

I hear Cyrus say something about looking forward to seeing the Eiffel Tower in the video thingy the camera guys take.

"Um, Cyrus, the Eiffel towers in Paris." I awkwardly called out to him, while he made a disappointed face at the camera.

We had all boarded the plane, and it was like literally how a pop star travels. We actually had beds. Like real beds, not recliner chair thingys. REAL beds.

"I'm sleeping!" I yelled to no one in particular. I just hope no one wakes me. Or pranks me.

Now we are sighting on a double decker bus, and I've taken so many photos already, it's crazy.

"I still can't believe i'm in London. Like, I've never been overseas before, actually, I've never been outside of New South Wales/Melbourne/Queensland either" I said to the cameras.

I was sitting next to Jakob on the bus, and Chris and Ethan were in front of us. I keep getting butterflies in my stomach when he smiles.

I can't like him, can I?

"Have you ever been overseas before?" I ask him.

"No I haven't, but I think this will be the best Holiday ever!" he said while smiling. There goes the butterflies again.

We were now in some 'Top Secret Location', (I probably shouldn't tell you where), waiting for the judges . They slowly made their way down the stairs to stand in front of us.
