Age: 14Psychotic Young Girl
I turn to the mirror
And what do I see?
A psychotic young girl
Whose heart would always bleedHer innocence scarred
Her purity stolen
Her soft eyes now dead hard
Her spirit no longer goldenEveryday a smile she'd fake
To cover tragedies in her head
Every night she'd review every mistake
And sometimes wish she'd be deadAnd one might ask...
Why does despair fill her head?
Why does she wear a mask?
Why does she wish to be dead? The answer lies in a boy's heart
Impulsive and cruel
To her he played an important part
His love gave her fuelThe two met three years back
Both new to the adolescent world
But she grew too attached
And he went from girl to girlAt one point in time
He claimed to like her back
The girl let her shield crack
And grew uncontrollably attachedFor reasons unknown
It never worked out
For that reason alone
She'd question and doubtThree years ahead to present time
Uncertainty still in her mind
And all her joy and sunshine
Died when her hope went blindBut the boy never meant harm
Right...?
It was only his charm
That sent her sanity into plightBut not all hope is lost
For this psychotic young girl
There's one condition at high cost
That could save her worldAn impulsive cruel boy
Threw her in this mess
A smart caring boy
Can put her heart to rest
