Bobby arrived at the diner a few hours later. He came inside and as soon as he saw me, came up to me and gave me a hug. I knew Bobby from John. They were good buddies, my dad also introduced me to him once. Bobby was like an uncle to me, and with John on a hunt, I honestly didn't know who else to call. "Are you alright, Y/N?" he asked me breaking away from the hug to look at me. "Yeah, I'm okay," I replied. He pulled me into another a hug, but it was a quicker one this time. "Okay, well come on. You can stay at my place for a while," Bobby said. I nodded my head and we turned around to leave, when I heard, "Y/N wait." I turned back around to see Quinn writing on a napkin. She came over to me and handed me the napkin and said, "This is my number. Please call me if you need anything. Anything at all" I nodded my head, taking the napkin from her and I pulled her into a hug and said, "Thank you so much for everything." She gave me a small smile and a nod. Then Bobby and I left. We were driving to Bobby's house when Bobby asked, "How are you holding up?" "I lost my only family. I'm just trying to make it through the day," I replied. "I'm really sorry. Look the first thing we'll do when we get home is call John, okay?" Bobby said. "No, I don't want to bother him, especially on a hunt. I don't want him distracted and then end up getting hurt or worse dying," I told Bobby. "Y/N, you would never bother him. John talks about you like you were his own daughter. He loves you like you were. You wouldn't disract him. Hell if anything you would only make him more focused to kill the thing so he could come home to you," Bobby said. I smiled at the thought of seeing John, and nodded my head. "Okay, when we get to your house, we will call him," I said. Bobby smiled and nodded his head. "You know you're quite the gal Y/N. Dean is an idjit for doing what he did to you. John will give him Hell for it too," he said. I smiled a little and said, "Yeah, well, hopefully he dont hurt 'em too much. They are still my family," I said. The rest of the car ride was silent. We finally got to Bobby's house, and we went inside. I took off my leather jacket and laid it on Bobby's couch. He pulled his phone out and dialed John's number. He put it on speakerphone so that I could hear. Ring. Ring. Ring. Finally, there came a "Hello," from John. "Hey John. It's me Bobby. I got someone who wants to talk to you," Bobby said handing me the phone. There was silence, and I finally said, "Hello." "Y/N?" he asked, kind of sounding relieved. "Yeah," I said, "We need to talk." "I already heard what happened between Dean and you," John said. "What? How?" I asked him. "Dean called me asking if I had seen you and he told me what had happened," John explained. "Oh," was all I could say. Bobby encouraged me to go on. "Well listen John," I started out, "I was just wondering when you were coming home." "I'm sorry Y/N. I'm not coming home," John said. "What do you mean?" I asked. "After I heard what Dean did, I couldn't help but feel responsible for all of it. I feel bad for taking you in. You deserved a life better than this one," he explained. "No. My life with you guys was perfect. I love you guys. You are my family," I said processing what John was saying. "Your daddy wouldn't have wanted this for you. I see that now. So I'm taking my boys and I'll tell them you are missing. They will look for awhile. But eventually give up. Y/N I love you, and I consider you as my own daughter. I love you so much, that I have to give you up. I have to give you your best chance at survival," John said. "No-I-" I tried to find words. "Bobby. Listen up. I want you to take care of my little girl. Dont let nothin happen to her. You understand me?" John asked Bobby through the phone. "I guess," Bobby replied. "John, wait, please. I have already lost one father. Please dont make me lose another one," I pleaded. "Honey, those words are gonna break my heart, but this is for the best. I love you Y/N." Those were the last words I heard from John before the line went dead. I looked up at Bobby with a few tears in my eyes, and Bobby came over and hugged me. "I am so sorry Y/N. I can't replace your daddy or John, but I will fight tooth and nail to make sure you feel at home here, okay?" Bobby said trying to make me feel better. I just looked at him and he continued, "For the record, those Winchesters are idjits for ditching you like a prom date." That made me chuckle which earned a smile in return from Bobby. "Me and you," he said, "We'll be our own family."
