John was laying in the bedroom of the cabin resting. I was sitting down and Dean and Sam were pacing around. My emotions were a rollercoaster at this point. I didn't know where to cty or be mad, or just be happy we were all okay so far. I just sat there on the chair. "So what is the deal with this colt anyway?" I asked Sam and Dean. "It can kill anything. That is why Azazel wants it. However, there were only a certian number of bullets made. No more can be made, so we can't be wasting the bullets," Sam said. "I know. It's just that that demon in the alley. He was gonna kill you Sammy. I was actually thinking about it. That demon I shot to save you, there was a demon inside of him," Dean said. "Dean, you didn't have a choice," Sam said. "I know. That's not what bothers me. I would do anything, kill anything to protect my family, and that scares me a little bit," Dean replied. I was going to say something, but John cane out of the room and said, "Its shouldn't." Dean looked at John and said, "Your not mad?" "Mad?" John asked. "For using a bullet," Dean clarified. "No I am proud of you Dean. You watch out for this family," John said. "Thanks," Dean said. All of a sudden the lights started flickering. Sam, Dean, and I all stood up. "It found us. It's here. Sammy put lines of salt along the windows and doors," John said. "Already did it," Sam replied. "Go check it," John said. Sammy left the room. "Y/N. Just stay here with Dean," I nodded my head and John continued, "Dean got the gun?" "Yeah," Dean answered. "Give it to me," John said. Dean went to give John the gun, but hesistated. He held the gun in his hand for a few minutes, and finally said, "He'd be furious." "What?" John asked. "That I wasted a bullet. He wouldn't be proud, he'd be furious," Dean said. Dean raised the gun at John. "Dean what are you doing?" I asked. He ignored me and said, "You're not my dad." "Dean it's me," John said. "I know my dad better than anyone, and you ain't him," Dean said. "What the hell gas gotten into you?" John asked. "I can ask you the same thing. Stay back," Dean said, his eyes not leaving John's. Sam came into the room, and saw Dean holding the gun up and asked, "Dean what the hell is going on?" "Your brother has lost his mind," John said. "He's not dad," Dean said. "What?" Sam asked. I started taking a few steps closer towards Dean, but I was still about an equal distance in between John and the boys. "I think he is possessed. I think he has been possessed ever since we rescued him," Dean said. My face was completely expressionless. "Don't listen to him, Sammy," John said. "Dean, how do you know?" Sam asked. "He's different," Dean replied. "We dont have time for this. Sam if you want to kill this demon, you gotta trust me. Sam," John said. Sam looked between John and Dean and said, "No. No," he walked towards Dean and stood behind him. "Y/N, you believe me right?" John asked looking at me. Sam and Dean also turned their attention towards me. "I-I don't know," I said. John gor a sad expression on his face and said, "You know I didn't want to leave you. I didn't want Bobby to have to take care of you. But after I heard what Dean did, I knew you were better than us. I knew that we were a bad influence on you and you deserved so much more. I even told you that the reason we left was because you were too good for us," John said. I looked at the floor and then back up at John. "You never said that," I said, looking at him and then the boys who were both staring at me. "What?" he asked looking confused. "You said you told me that the reason you left was because I was too good for you guys," I said taking a few steps closer to Dean, "But you never said that. You said that the reason you left, was because you felt bad for taking me in, because my dad wouldn't have wanted this life for me." I was right next to Dean now, and he grabbed my hand with his free one. I squeezed it tight not wanting to let go. "Fine. If you're all so sure. Go ahead. Kill me," John said. Dean still held the gun at John, and John bowed his head ready for Dean to shoot him, but Dean couldn't bring himself to do it. After a few seconds, John said, "I thought so." He looked up and his eyes were yellow. The next thing I knew I was flung against the wall with a yellow-eyed demon possessing John coming closer to me.
