It has been about nine years since the first day John took me in. I have to say life with the Winchesters was amazing. Sure we grew up into hunting. Hell we were shooting things at age 9. But that didn't matter. I felt like I had a real family with them. John was my only father figure now. Although he could never replace my father he did a pretty good job at raising me. He was kind of rough with his own boys. Always getting in fights with Sam and punishing Dean when he did something wrong on accident. Yet he was always so nice to me. Maybe because I wasn't his own kid. He was really nice in the nights though. Sometimes, I would be crying in the middle of the night, from some stupid nightmare. John would come in and turn on the light and ask me what was wrong. I would tell him my nightmare and he would hold my hands and say, "It's okay Y/N. Everything's going to be okay. It was only a nightmare." Then he would start telling me a bedtime story, and once I was almost asleep he would sing to me. Usually "Hey Jude" by the Beatles; however, sometimes he would sing Bon Jovi or REO Speedwagon. I would fall asleep peacefully, and the next day we pretended like it didn't happen. However, he was always on hunts, so I didn't really get to see that much of him. I grew really close to Sam and Dean though. Sam was my "brother". He was the one person I could trust with everything. All of my secrets he knew, he was my shoulder to lean on when I needed one, and he always stuck up for me. Dean was the same as Sam, except I have developed a secretly major crush on him. I was in love with Dean Winchester. He didn't feel the same way about me though. Today was our first day of high school. Dean was a senior, I was a junior, and Sam was a freshman. I wasn't too stressed about it though. After all, once you have bounced through more schools than you can count, first days begin to feel like any day of school. I wore my hair up in a cute ponytail that pulled my bangs out of my face, and I applied little eye-shadow and eyeliner to my eyes, along with mascara. My head was done. Next I picked out a t-shirt that was kind of tight, but it was one of my favorites. I put on my skinny jeans that had a few rips in them, and wore my biker boots, and leather jacket. "You ready for this Y/N?" Dean asked as I came out of the hotel room we were staying in. John was out on a hunt, so we had to live here for a few weeks. "I was born ready," I replied, smiling. He winked and smirked at me and said, "That's my girl." We all walked to the Impala. John rented a car so that Dean could drive us. I hopped in the passenger seat, Sam crawled in the back, and Dean slumped into the drivers seat. He turned on the Impala and the engine roared. "Black Dog" by Led Zeppelin started to play, and Dean and I started immediately started rocking out and singing it at the top of our lungs. It took Sam a little while to get there but after a while of laughing at us he finally started rocking out with us. If these were the people I was going to die with, then I would die a happy girl. The song finished just as we arrived at the school. Dean parked in the Impala and we all hopped out of the car with our backpacks. As soon as we got out, everyone looked at us. There were a lot of kids both inside and outside the school. As soon as we came within they were standing in, everyone started to look at us. We went to the admissions office and got our schedules and broke off in our separate ways. My first class was gym. I didn't have any gym clothes though so I had to borrow some. I got to the gym, and was faced with at least 15 girls and 15 guys. The teacher came over to me and asked for my name. "Uh, Y/N," I replied. "Okay everyone. This is Y/N. She is new here. Be nice," the teacher announced and everyone stared at me. I just stood there turning a little red and then the teacher blew the loud whistle. "Alright! I want girls on this side of the gym, and guys on this side of it. Let's go!" he yelled. Girls had to play volleyball whereas guys had to play basketball. "Okay, girls. Let's pick teams," one of the girls said. She was a pretty blonde with tanned skin and blue eyes. Her name was Stephanie. Another girl was picked captain, and they chose the girls to be on their team. I was the last one, and Stephanie tried to look behind me to see if there was anyone else. "I'm the only one here," I said. "Oh! Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. Of course, come on over!" she said with a fake smile that I wanted to slap off her face. I hated people like her. We started playing the game. I'll admit I am good at many things but volleyball wasn't one of them. I went to try and the get the ball, but I ended up missing it and falling. "Why don't you be a little less sucky," Stephanie said. All of her friends started snickering at me. I got up and said, "Why don't you be a little less bitchy." All of the girls' mouth dropped and they all just started at me. "Excuse me? What the hell did you just say?" she asked me. "I said, "Why don't you be a little less bitchy, bitch," I replied. "Listen up you little-" the teacher must have noticed something was going on as he blew whistle. "Y/N why don't you go get changed and try to find your locker. I did what he said feeling Stephanie drilling holes in my skull as I walked away. After the first day, I went to find Dean and Sam in the parking lot. Dean was sitting on the car with a bunch of pretty girls surrounding him, as always. Sammy was sitting on a car next to the Impala giving Dean a disgusted look as he flirted with all of the girls. "Hey Dean," I said, pushing through all of the girls. "What the hell is the bitch doing here?" none other than Stephanie asked Dean. "Trying to go home," I replied for Dean, and then asked her, "What are you doing here? Did they run out of men at slut barn?" Sammy started laughing and Dean just looked at me. He kind of seemed like he was mad at me. "Do you really know her?" she asked Dean turning her back towards me. I looked at Dean waiting for him to say 'Yep, now if you'll excuse me we need to go home now.' But instead he said, "Uh, no. I don't think so. She is probably just some ugly chick who wants some," he said. I felt my heart shatter and my eyes start to water. I glared at Dean and gave him a slightly confused face, and turned my head to the side a little. The girls started laughing hysterically at me, and Dean avoided eye contact with me. "You can go now," Stephanie said. I turned around and started walking towards the road. Sam hopped off the car he was sitting on and came and ran up to me. "Y/N! Y/N! WAIT!" he yelled catching up to me. "You know that Dean didn't mean that," he said. "Sam please. I don't want to walk about it. Please just go back to Dean," I said a hot tear rolling down my cheek. "Y/N-" he began. "Please. Sam," I said turning back around. "Will I see you back at the hotel?" he called back to me. I turned around and gave him a small smile letting another tear fall down and said, "I'll be seeing you Sam." Sam took that as a yes, but that was really me saying no. I started walking away slowly at first. Then after the school was out of my sight, I started running and letting myself completely break down. I was crying as the wind blew in my face. I didn't know where I was, but I ran until I found a little town. There weren't many people there, but there was shelter. I broke into the back of a diner that looked closed and started to walk around, when I heard, "Hello?" I turned around and saw a woman whose face turned from scared to empathetic. "Please I have no where else to go, and I will be gone tomorrow," I told her, more tears running down my face. "Okay," she said with a small smile, "I will stay with you tonight." I gave a small smile, and she came next to me and gave me a hug and we both sat down on the floor. "What's your name?" she asked. "Y/N," I replied. "What happened to you Y/N?" I sat there, on the floor, as she hugged me, and told her all about what happened.
