We all have secrets // shawn mendes

For old times sake

I was wide awake at 5.00 am .

I slept at 1.00 am , right after Shawn said goodnight I went straight to sleep , but somehow I got up .

I decided to try and sleep again since I only had four hours of sleep which wasn't healthy at all , I tried my best to fall asleep again but I just couldn't , which was weird .

It was a Monday morning , and I was dreading to go to school today , but I know that I have to .

So I decided to just wake up and get ready for the day .

I usually start my day off by having a cup of coffee in the morning , that's the only thing that gets me excited .

So that's what I did , I went downstairs to make myself a cup of coffee .

" Good morning hun , you're up early "
Said my mom who was currently walking downstairs .

" Good morning mom , yeah I couldn't really sleep "

As soon as I said that , I remembered that I had to give Shawn a present , to repay him for being so kind to me when I fainted .

I still don't know what to give him .

Oh wait , I remember talking to him about music , and he told me that he needed a new music book and a new guitar pick .

I guess I'll buy him a new music book and a new pick and maybe chocolate .

He told me that his favorite type of chocolates is Snickers so I might as well get him a packet filled with snickers .

" Mom , is the music store across the street open at this time ? "

" No not yet they usually open at 7.00 am "

I guess I just have to wait till 7 to get him his present , in the meantime I'll just finish drinking my coffee and get ready for school .

It was already 7.00 am and by then I was already dressed up ready for school , I decided to take my car and drive to the music store .

" Mom , I'm gonna go to the music store now , I'll probably go to the pharmacy store and then I'll head to school "

" Okay , I hope you have a great day Lauren "

" Thanks , mom you too !! "

I grabbed my car keys and I headed out .

In the car , I decided to listen to the album My Everything by Ariana Grande , it's one of my favorite albums ever .

The music store was really near my house so it only took me 5 minutes to reach .

I parked my car and I walked into the store .

" Welcome to Sound Exhange how may I help you ? " said the salesgirl .

" Hello , I'm actually looking for a music book and a guitar pick for my friend "

" Is your friend a fan of a band or any other artists ? "

" Yes , he actually really loves James Bay and Ed Sheeran "

" I have the perfect guitar pick and the perfect music book for your friend , just hold on a second yeh "

" Sure "

While waiting for the salesgirl to return , I decided to text Shawn .

Can I offer you a ride to school ?

I wanted to give him a ride to school just for today since I have to give him his present anyway .

The salesgirl started walking towards me , so I kept my phone in the back of my ripped jeans pocket .
