A story of epic love

Chapter 7

Taking a deep breath she opened the door.

"Good evening Juliet"

Andy looked amazing, he was dressed in a smart black shirt with a blood-red tie, a really expensive looking black jacket, black trousers/skinny jeans and shoes. She couldn't stop looking at those piercing blue eyes, he looked like a fallen angel.

'Wow' he thought 'she looks gorgeous that dress with her natural make-up wow I understand why it's taken me 1,000 years to find her'

"Andy would you like to come in?"

"Oh yes of course"

He walked and saw a tiny, run down apartment, it had a small sitting area, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, there was cracks in the plasters, lights hanging on wires. 'this won't do, she deserves better than this'

"Sorry my apartment isn't the best but my job doesn't pay that great"

"It's fine Juliet don't worry I understand"

"If you take a seat, I'll get some drinks"

She went off into the kitchen, Andy went into the living area, it had a small light-brown coffee table, a small TV it looked about 30 inches wide and a small brown sofa with a standing lamp to the side. And finally a sitting chair, it looked cosy and lived in, it was lovely actually. A nice sight compared to what he was used to....

"I made margaritas I hope you like them"

"I'm not thirsty Juliet but thank you"

"Oh no problem"

She took a glass off the tray and started to drink it, to me it smelled very strong people don't realise how gross human food was to vampires, he tried to cover his nose in a way that didn't like obvious.

"So how's the bookstore business going?" she asked.

"It's good thank you, I love books don't get me wrong but I want to be writing them not selling them"

"Well you should, it's like me with music that's what I really want to be doing, I hate my job so much"

"Do you have any gigs coming up?"

"Next weekend yes at the light club, you heard of it?"

"Yes I visit sometimes, I will stop by if I have time"

"That would be great"

"Juliet I'm really sorry but I have to go"

"Oh that's fine, I need to get ready for work tomorrow I work afternoons on Sundays"

Andy begin making his way to the door, but as he was about to leave she said "Wait"

He turned around and she kissed him, it was very passionate.

"I've been wanting to do that since I met you sorry if it was too early"

Andy then kissed her back, and said "and I've wanted to do that since I met you"

"Bye Juliet"

"Bye Andy"

He was gone.
