Alia’s POV

As Liam leads me to the restaurant my nerves start kicking in, I take deep breaths so a panic attack doesn’t come up. I close my eyes, and Liam whispers in my ear,

“It’s okay Alia; everything is going to be okay. I promise.”

I smile and nod as he leads me in. When he opens the door, I see Lou and she is wearing a nude high-low dress with beautiful nude pumps. Her smile widens, she kicks her pumps off and runs toward me, as she hugs me,

“ALIA, oh my gosh, I missed you so much. I heard you had a pretty rough week, how are you doing now?”

I smile and nod, “I missed you too Lou! And yeah, ‘pretty rough’ is definitely an understatement. No words can describe what I have gone through. From the beating, to the numerous panic attacks, I’m just a hot mess, but with Liam here everything just seems alright.”

Lou pokes my cheeks and chuckles, “Awwh, look who’s getting a cute and flustered! You totally have a crush on Liam, it’s so obvious!”

I look at the ground and sigh, “Yeah, I like him a lot. But look who’s talking, you’ve been talking to Niall non-stop since we left the meet and greet.”

Her cheeks get really pink and she smiles, “He such a great guy, like when I talk to him, I don’t feel like I’m talking to heart-throb Niall Horan from One Direction, I feel like I’m talking to Niall, the guy who loves laughing and is always hungry.”

I nod and we link arms and walk over to our table. Liam and Niall are whispering to each other, but when we get there, they stop and smile cutely. Liam pulls out my chair, and hands me a menu. I look over the menu and the words start jumbling up

I keep on trying to read and read and read, but it just so hard. Tears fill my eyes, as I see Liam, Lou, and Niall discuss what they want together as they are pointing to the menu. I sigh and get up,

“I—uh will be right back.”

I hurry off, but then I feel a hand touch mine,

“Alia what’s wrong?”

I quickly wipe my tears, and fake a smile, “What do you mean? I—I’m okay.”

He shakes his head, he isn’t buying it. He looks me in the eyes, “Alia, please tell me what’s wrong. I want this date to be perfect, but it can’t be with you sad.”

I sigh, “It’s the menu, I—I can’t read the menu…”

Liam smiles, “I am sure you can.” He walks over picks up a menu, and hands it to me, “Read.”
