Prologue

"Alright guys, it's time for Friday afternoon golden time" Mrs Douval's soft angelic voice carried throughout the class room. The summer sun shone through the window hitting and bouncing off of the colourful paintings and walls. Her long thick chocolate like hair brightened as the rays danced around it "Now, like every golden time, play nicely and fairly. I don't want any fighting and if there's a problem, what do we do?" she questioned with an awaiting voice.

"Tell a teacher" the class simultaneously hollered.

A graceful smile formed on her pink raw lips as she traced over the small beautiful children in front of her "Good. Off you go"

The children uncrossed their legs and ran out into the summer afternoon breeze, straight out to the playground.

"Let's go on the swings, Libby" A young Casey spoke. Her chubby white face pushing and squeezing her features together. The blonde shoulder length, straight cut hair shaped her round face.

"It's not our turn, Casey" young liberty spoke gently "I want to paint" she pointed to the vacant table with various coloured paint bottles "the swings might be open when we finish" she smiled whilst placing her thin slender fingers in Casey's chubby ones.

"I want that one!"

"I had it first!"

Both liberty and Casey turned to discover two young boys battling over one massive hula hoop. They watched as the brunette yanked from one end and the blonde yanking from the other. Neither girls said a word nor did they help but watched as the fight between the boys increased.

"It's mine!" the blonde yelled loudly.

Anger raced round the brunette's eyes before he suddenly released his grip from his end. The hula hoop flew and smashed straight into the blonde mouth causing a stream of tears to pour out his eyes.

Liberty and Casey cautiously walked over at gradual speed.

"Are you okay" Young Casey questioned to the now blubbering child. His hair was scruffy and slightly damp while his slimy snot ran down his noise and directly into his mouth. The glasses he once wore led calmly just next to him.

"That wasn't nice" liberty pointed out to the slim to average sized child standing beside her.

"I-I didn't mean to hurt him" worry took over his perfect features causing Libby to hold his shoulders in her small hands.

"You need to say sorry or Mrs Douval will gives you a time out" Libby warned.

The young boy pushed Libby's small hands and walked over to the blonde being comforted by Casey.

"I'm sorry I hurt you Tyler. I didn't mean it" his apology only reached liberty's fragile ear drums.

When no progress was made, Libby spoke up "He said he was sorry, you can stop crying now"

After a few more released tears, young Tyler was left sniffling.

"Do you forgive him?" Casey questioned.

"I want to paint" Tyler spoke, ignoring the question.

Casey reached her short fingers and arms in order to help him up with a smile "You can paint with me and Libby"

All three young walked off to the painting table and sat down. The brunette boy stared at the once craved hula hoop and switch his attention to the painting area.

Libby turned in her chair to face the sad looking child "You can come and paint with us if you want" she smiled.
