My first three days played out exactly how I would have assumed it would. Teachers tauntingly introducing me to the uninterested students, not understanding a word of what the teachers were supposedly teaching, and having to collect at least ten to fifteen worksheet for me to complete over the course of the week and to be handed in by Friday, at the latest.

Nothing I hadn't expected.

So far, Casey wasn't in any of my classes but felt the need to wait for me outside each one in order to show me to the next. We weren't exactly bonding with one another, we hadn't talked about anything but school and when we suggested meeting up a few times, we either already had plans or just didn't feel up for it.

"So, how was this class" She inquired with a hopeful tone.

I stared blankly ahead and waved the sheets and sheets of paper in the air, giving her my answer.

"Don't worry Lib, after the first two weeks or so, you'll be caught up" she assured with her very wearable smile "With my help, of course" she laced her arm round mine for the hundredth time today.

"What's next then?" I question disinterestedly.

"Nothing. We can go home!" she squealed. It seemed as though no one was paying attention to her loud obnoxious squeals, just the new girl wrapped round her arm.

"So, you cheerlead?" I raised my eyebrows. She and I went to the best dance classes Chicago had to offer for nine years. I guys I wasn't all that surprised she changed to higher her status at school "I think I recall you getting into a nasty cat fight with a cheerleader a few years ago. You vowed to never stoop down to hell's level" I smirked.

She straighten her posture before slightly raising her chin and nose in the air "I'm not like most cheerleaders" she defended.

"Just because you're not surrounded by a shit load of football boys, doesn't make you different to any other cheerleader, Casey. And I'm betting, you're head of the team?"

She clamped her mouth shut and kept her face blank, causing me to laugh "I so saw that coming" I said shaking my head.

We walked out through the exit and down the stairs. I had been praying all day that I would bump into either Tyler or Aiden, but I was out of luck, I didn't see either one.

According to one of Casey's friends, it was all over Facebook and Twitter for the past three days that the new girl was hanging round the popular group already. If I wasn't trying to mend my relationship with Casey, I would have walked away from all this gossip the day I started.

I assumed that the news must have entered the two other popular groups in three days. They were doing everything in their power to avoid me at all costs.

I could always go and visit their homes. They wouldn't be able to kick me out if I was going over to "catch up" with their family.

"My mum's over there, did you want a lift?" I asked.
