I started putting my phone, wallet, notebook, pens, hygiene bag, and my makeup bag in my black tote purse. I walked out into the living room remembering to check the weather forecast. I saw that it was going to be a little bit chilly outside so I hurried back into my room and decided with taking my black asymmetrical leather slash wool coat. I run to the kitchen and got a granola bar to snack on. I grabbed my keys, while making my way towards the TV to turn it off. I then hurried out my door. I made sure to lock the door behind me. I got onto the elevator to see my next door neighbor. He looked even more beautiful than the day before. We rode the elevator down in silence at first, but then he break it.
"Hey. You're the one who lives next door to me" he said then went on "I am your next door neighbor. My names Derek. How about yours?" he asked
'Did my hot neighbor just talked to me?! No! It can't be. Haha' I thought to myself.
"Hello?" he asked while staring at me with his beautiful light blue eyes
"Oh, your talking to me?" I asked astonished
"Do you see anybody else except for us two?" he questioned
"Oh yeah right my name is-" when I was about to say my name the elevator ding indicating that we are suppose to get off the elevator. I was going to put my keys in my bag when someone bumped into me. It was an old lady that I know. she's very nice, she treats me like her grandchild. She has snow white hair, blue eyes, and a caramel skin complexion.
"Hi, Ms. Follen. How are you today?" I asked
"I am okay dear. How is your mother and sisters?" she ask
"They are alright I called them last Monday telling them I am doing fine" I smiled
"Okay, dear. Tell your mother I say hi. And the weather is cold outside so stay warm" She patted my arm. Then continued walking to the elevator.
My mom and my sisters are living in this three bedroom apartment. My mom is working really hard to pay off the bills. I help her from time to time.
I walked off and into the cold fall air. Taking a deep breath in, I smell the crisp air. And no I didn't smell pumpkin pies or pumpkin spice lattes because first of all I am no where close to Starbucks and if I was I am pretty sure I wouldn't smell it if a person has it in their cup.
It isn't the best looking building by far. However, it does come in handy when I need it the most and that's usually for sleeping, eating, and obviously WiFi benefits.
I walked to the station and paid for my ticket. Once I saw an available seat on the train I sat down, and read all my email messages on my phone. Once it was my stop I got off the train and walk outside. As I walked to the company I felt kind of nervous and excited at the same time. I went in and walked to the secretary desk and ask them what floor are they holding the orientation.
Once she pointed me to the location of where the orientation will take place. I take a seat at the back and listened to the presentation they are showing. Once it was over we were all told that we can get our pictures taken for our photo ID to be allowed into the building. When I was done, I was told that someone would take me to my work space and show me to my assigned worker I will be assisting.
When I found the person who is suppose to show me my work space and the person I am going to be assisting. We take the elevator to 25th floor. As the elevator started moving, I wondered what type of worker I will be assisting.
Then I started thinking about 50 shades of Grey, I wonder if my boss will be like Mr.Grey. That would be something wouldn't it. I giggled to myself a little bit.
As we got off the elevator we walked through this hallway. I could see people working on their computers and probably goofing off. Probably watching porn. I laughed at my joke and the people through the glass windows all looked at me weirdly. We continued walking down the hallway until we stop at a giant glass door. I fixed myself, so I can give a great first impression.
