Chapter 18

Raymond POV

I opened up the brown package to see pictures with sharpie writings on the pictures. The first picture I had seen was a room filled with Destiny's face, apartment number, key, and Destiny's face, and also pictures of her in the shower. I furrowed my brows out of anger. The second picture had shown a small cabin in the middle of what seems to be a forest. The third picture was of a note on the hood of one of the office car. I stand up with the pictures still in my hand while I look at the other pictures I paced around in my living room. When I read what the note stated I finally knew who had written the note. I think I should go over to Destiny's place to see if she is okay.

I run upstairs and walked into my walk-in closet to put on a black knitted sweater, on top the sweater I put on a black leather jacket. I walked back down the stairs and to the elevator. When I got in, I texted Aiden and Will. However, I wonder what would be best to drive to Destiny's apartment. Should I take the motorcycle to reach her apartment in record time or should I take a car to let her sleep comfortably in? After a long conflict with myself, I finally decided to take my Harley-Davidson Street 500 to get to her place much faster. 

New York traffic is no laughing matter especially when you need to get by your crushes side. When I reached the underground parking lot, I walked to the place where I also keep my cars. I went towards my motorcycle and taken out my helmet and then got onto the motorcycle, strapping the helmet on I drive towards the exit. I drive down the street at full speed but came to a red light. While waiting for the green light I called Destiny to see if she would pick up, but all I got was 'Sorry the caller is not available at this time'. When the light finally turned green, I started my engine and continued driving towards Destiny's apartment.

When I finally reach her apartment building. I race inside without taking off my helmet and run up the stairs. I look at my phone, to see that Aiden and Will are both outside of Destiny's building waiting for me. I knocked at Destiny's door but hadn't heard anything. I started to get worried. 'I am at your door. Please open up' I texted Destiny.  Then, I called up the investigator, while walking down the stairs. Once I got him on the second ring I started to speak.

"Hey Al, can I please get those pictures you have taken. I would like it electronically. It seems like my friend is missing for some reason."

"Yeah, I'll send them right away. And have you seen the last picture? He is actually a serial killer on the run. I reported him to the police his apartment building is near the women that you are trying to find. I am I correct? I had a hacker tapped into his phone. Apparently, they had a dinner date. If so, she is really in trouble. I read that 'Derek' had always done this to the women he would drug them with something. His real name, however, is Gavin Dawn. He is a natural brunette, but he dyed it." Al said with a little grunt at the end, then continued on, "The picture that I had sent you with the cabin, it is where he hides out in. I think you should check there. And I'll also call the police to update them with the information. I am sending you the location to his cabin."

"Thank you so much, I really appreciate this Al" I hung up and then looked at my phone to see the text message he had sent me. I look at the time to see that it is 3 AM in the morning. When I got outside I saw Aiden and Will. I bro-hugged them and then put my motorcycle in Will's matte blue Porsche Macan S.

"So, is Destiny alright?" They both asked in sync.

"No," I said while looking numb.

"Don't worry, hyung. We'll find her." Aiden stated confidently.

"We better. That fucking asshole Gavin, better be saying his prayers. He's. Going. To. Pay." I stated with clenched fists.

"Okay, let's go. You have the location, right?" Will asked

"Yeah," I said while getting into the passenger seat. I look behind me to see a black duffle bag.

"Um...What's in the duffle bag?" I ask

"Oh, it's just back up. In case anything happens to us" Aiden said while getting in the back seat.

"Alright," I said. Knowing what he meant by 'back up', I knew it had to be something to do with weapons or anything to protect us with.

Will race through the streets at full speed, while listening to the directions I was giving him. When we finally arrived, we take out the black duffle bag and geared up. I walk up carefully to the window to check out what is happening inside. Inside I saw Gavin sitting down in the big L-shaped couch. Seeing him sitting down so calmly, infuriated me. I run to the front door and kicked down the door with Aiden and Will behind me, I felt at ease, but at that moment I felt like something was off.

 I shake off the feeling and continued walking quietly with Will and Aiden behind me. The three of us appeared into the cabin's foyer. As we walked further in the cabin we found Gavin. Aiden and Will aim their guns at the back of his head. As if he knew that we were standing behind him, he put down his whiskey filled glass onto the wooden coffee table and stand up facing us with a smirk.

"Welcome, I knew that you would come. I actually brewed some tea for us, but you made me wait for a whole," he paused to take a look at his watch, "hour, for you to come, but the person you are looking for is not with me" he stated with a smirk. I walked forward with a straight face.

"Where. Is. Destiny!?" I asked with a roar to my tone.

"Tsk, Tsk, Tsk. And why do you assume that I have her?" he asked walking toward me in a slow manner, with my fist and jaw clenched, I asked the same question again with a hard glare, that can put anyone witnessing into a coma.

"Okay, since you are so persistent in finding Destiny. I will give you a hint. Once awake Destiny will feel railway tracks imprinted on her body. I must say I did find Destiny very attractive and the sex I had with her was as fine as her ass. Our dinner date was the first time, I had rapped her in her curve-hugging dress. Who could say no to that outfit? She was unconscious when I did the deed on her. That was the first time we did fuck" He said with a grin on his face. When I heard him say that.

I started throwing punches at him from left to right. My friends tried to hold me back from trying to kill him. I picked up the bat and swung it at the bastard called Gavin. Then left the cabin and realized where she really is. At that moment I have gotten a text message from Jack stating 'I know where Destiny is'. Jack typed in the location and I texted him a 'thank you'.  I went back to the cabin to see Aiden and Will check  Gavin's pulse to see if he was alright. I told them where Destiny was and we all got into the car. Will had given me the keys to his car while we raced toward Destiny's location.
