His Personal Assistant

Chapter 13

Raymond POV
As I was watching Destiny put away my clothes and accessories I noticed that she was done. She turn around to face me and we were just inches apart from each other's face.

"I probably should get going" she said stepping away from me.

"Would you like to watch a movie or something?" I asked nonchalantly

"Um..that would be cool" she said while smiling.

We walked out of my closet and into my room. However, we decided to go to my living room. My living room is big and it has brown leather with a kind of bachelor pad kind of vibe. My phone was buzzing, but I didn't wanted to answer the call since I just wanted to hangout with Destiny for a little while.

"What movie do you want to watch?" I said while walking into my kitchen.

I take out a white bowl to put in the popcorn. And also got us some vitamin water and some gummy worms.

I brought back the snacks to Destiny and watched as her eyes bulge out of her eye sockets.

"Wow is that for us"

"No it's for Mickey and Minnie. Of course it's for us!" I said with an eye roll

"I know you weren't being sassy with me Mr" she said while folding her arms over her chest while frowning. I sat down next to her and put the bowls of snacks on my glass coffee table. I look at her and then pinched both of her cheeks.

"Of course I am being sassy with you cutie" I smiled while stretching her cheeks.

"Stop being such a grandmother" she said while slapping my hands away. She played the movie and we watched The Princess And The Frog. I learned that she like that movie because it was one of the first black Disney princess of all time and she also love their struggles, but thought they were being too over there self with putting a voodoo man in the film. Making the movie being stereotypical to black people overall.

"I agree that was wrong on Disney's part to add the voodoo man in the film" I stated

"However, it's still my favourite Disney movie" she smiled happily.

We were on the part where they were escaping the party. When I went in to get some popcorn my hand landed on Destiny's hand. We stared into each other's eyes for a moment before she broke the trance I had on her and stared at the tv screen. I still watched her. She looked back my way.

"Why don't you take a picture? It will last a lot longer, than I will"she  stated sarcastically

"If you must know I was fascinated by your pimples" and that ladies and gentlemen is how you cover up staring at a person for a long period of time. She hit me on my shoulder. However, I should warn you that my cover up is not that foul proof, but oh well.

"Your such a rude guy. I bet no girl on earth would ever date you. Even if your life depended on it!" She stick out her tongue long enough for me to take a hold of it and stare deeply in her eyes with fire in my eyes.

"Watch who you are talking too. I am still your boss" and with that I let go of her tongue.

"Wow I am so scared" she mocked

"I wish I had a teddy bear as the size as you because I am really tired" I said while looking at her.

"What is your devious mind planning?" She asked while eating the snacks I splattered across the table. I picked up a handful of popcorn and stuffed it in my mouth.

"Ohhhh he is getting on the voodoo mans bad side" I said while pushing her a little while watching the movie.

"More like he shouldn't have messed with the voodoo man at all" she said

"Yeah I don't know why people think that voodoo men can actually help them" I said

Normal POV
I watched from the corners of my eyes that Mr.Richard is actually happy and not acting like a little spoiled brat.

"Your acting completely normal" I said to him. He turned to look to me and he smiled.

"This movie is the bomb!" He said with a grin. I grab a vitamin water off the coffee table and drank it all the way to the middle. I eat some more of the delicious snacks that was on the table. And watched the scenes playing out before me on the tv screen.

46 minutes past by and the movie ended. I was tearing up at the end. Such has such a beautiful love life. And look at what my life become I am working with a spoiled brat that is way to rude for his own good.

"I am tired lets go to sleep" he said with a tired yawn.

"Actually I am going home" I said

"Not tonight. Let go" he said while picking me up and putting me on his shoulder. While walking up the stairs.

"What is up with you picking me up" I said

"Because..." he said then paused

"Because what?" I interrupted him

"Because your my personal assistant" he said. I huffed and just let him carry me. Just giving up in the process.

Raymond POV
I landed on the bed with Destiny and I wrapped my legs and arms around her. Making her feel like my own personal teddy bear. I nuzzled my head in her hair and fell asleep in that position. And it was the first time in years that I had good-nights rest.

Destiny POV
I was wrapped into Mr.Richards. My whole body felt like I was on fire. Every part of my body ache with nervousness and also embarrassed. Embarrassed because my boss has wrapped me up in his strong arms like I am his teddy bear...although I can't deny that I was sleeping like a baby. I didn't toss and turn at all. I felt relieved from stress and anxiety that the world was putting on me. I felt...free.

Hello guys I am so sorry that I didn't update in such awhile I was just reading this really interesting book that was called 'Intertwined' by Gena Showalter. In all honesty it was interesting, you could tell had a very vivid imagination, however, there were some grammar errors, but other than that I loved the plot line really interesting. Oh yeah I wanted to know which books do you tend to read and which books are you reading currently? And thanks for reading my little story I really do appreciate it.
