Sam called me.

Cas still hadn't made it to the bunker, and I couldn't find him.

He had me on speaker phone for him and Dean to speak.

I was driving.

"All right, so this is where Cas called from on Tuesday," Dean told us. "Longmont, Colorado. Each circle is ho far he might have gotten in one, two, and three days out."

"You got an Emory Park, Iowa?"

"Emory Park, Emory Park," Dean told us. "I just saw that. Yeah, a couple days outside of Longmont."

"Okay, because I heard a couple of Angels on Angel Radio from Emory Park, where they were murdering and torturing two priests on Thursday. They were impaled on posts."

"Torture?" Sam asked.

"Yeah. Angels are looking for information."

"Man, if they get to him before we do..." Dean trailed off.

"Yeah," Sam agreed.

"Well, I am on my way there now, but it's taking longer because, well, I have to drive."

"Hey, you sure that you don't want help?" Sam asked.

"I'm sure. I want you two to keep doing your job. Your job doesn't involve dealing with Angels. That's my job. But Cas was smart. He warded himself, and I don't know how to get ahold of him. So... I'll have to find him the old fashioned way."

"And how are you going to do that?" Dean asked.

"You think you two are the only ones who can go undercover?"

I was wearing a suit suitable for trying to pass as an FBI agent, standing outside of St. Anne's Cathedral Church, in the garden, talking to a man.

"Yeah, yeah, I think I know this guy you're talking about," the man told me. "Sounds like Clarence."

"Clarence?" I repeated.

"The church, it runs a shelter in town, and we work here," the man explained. "We earn our keep. Clarence spent a couple nights, and then had to move on."

"And he left the day the bodies were found?" I asked.

"Matter of fact," the man answered. "Oh, man, those poor guys were a mess. They must have suffered bad. But at least now they're with the Angels."

I looked away, aside. "I sure as hell hope not." I looked at the man. "Clarence happen to mention where he was headed?"

"No," the man answered. "He just said he always had to keep going."

I got into my car, calling Sam. "All right, well, he's definitely been here. Good news is he's getting cagey. He's using a fake name. Clarence."

"That's what Meg used to call him. Of course, he doesn't get that's the name of a pretty famous Angel."

"What?"

"'It's a Wonderful Life.'"

"Is that supposed to mean something?"

"Ava, seriously? What happened to you trying to get caught up on all the filmography of the human kind?"
