Hi guys! So I haven't written anything in a while, I have just been so busy with work, holidays and my personal life. But I am back with many ideas and so many new ideas for Paul and Sally.

READER DISCRETION- THIS CHAPTER CONTAINS AN ACCOUNT OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE WHICH IS BASED ON A TRUE STORY WHICH I EXPERIENCED GROWING UP. I was feeling upset about what happened to me as a child so what Sally is telling Paul, is what happened to me. If you feel reading about domestic violence would upset or distress you in anyway then I reccomend you do not read this chapter.

Thanks guys. Peace and love, Shannon xxx

She's Leaving Home

Paul and I walked out of the classroom, hand in hand, Julia by my side. George wasn't standing outside the classroom anymore so we assumed he took Hugh's orders and went to the headmaster for six of the best. I got it once and it was horrific. I don't know how anyone could be bothered. We walked out to the meeting point to see if we could find George. John stood alone against the wall.

"Looks like George could be a while." Paul said, still looking all around him. "Let's just get the bus and I suppose he'll catch up."

"Where is your little one?" John joked and pulled Julia into him by her waist and she laughed, pushing him off. She knew he wanted a challenge and she was more than willing to give him it. Julia wouldn't settle for any less than the best.

"Sent for six of the best." I spoke up before Paul could.

"Nasty." John said, shivering a bit. "He was out here having a fag about half an hour ago."

"Weren't you in class John?" Paul asked.

"Nah, couldn't be bothered! Skived it!" John was acting the tough man.

"Why didn't you go home then?" Julia folded her arms and looked at Paul and I even though she was talking to John.

He blushed and shrugged his shoulders then the four of us walked to the bus stop together. Julia and I were trying to quietly laugh.

After waiting around twenty minutes on a bus, one finally showed up. I sat with Paul and Julia and John sat across from us. Paul was creating a whole new Sally. Usually, the only person on a bus I'd sit with is Julia. Even Julia could tell Paul was really making me come out of my shell. I tried to look calm but it was purely obvious that inside, I was shining. John got off the bus at a stop he said his house was just around the corner from. A couple of minutes or so later, Paul, Julia and I got off at Forthlin Road.

"Are you far from home Julia?" Paul pulled me in closer to him.

"Not too far. I live just around the corner from Sally." Julia hugged her books tight into her chest. "Okay well I'll see you guys tomorrow." She winked at me as she walked away.

Paul and I stood in the same spot at the bus stop, a few feet away from his house. We watched Julia walk off into the mist and eventually out of sight.

"Pizza?" I smiled up at Paul.

"Sure." He bowed down and held his hand out. "May I request your company to the chippy madam?" I laughed and then gave him my hand.

The chippy wasn't a long walk from Paul's. Just a different turn from how you'd get to my house. Things were quiet for a bit. I usually hated silence. It made me tense.

"I can't believe its dark at five o'clock." Paul broke the silence, gazing up into the cloudy night sky.

"Winter is definitely on the way." I said looking around me at the fallen leaves.
