Never
I'm dead inside.
Not because my heart is broken or tossed aside,
But because It never got the chance to be used.
Everyone comes home crying,
With stories of how and why they are dying,
I just sit alone already emotionless, dead.
People say i've been blessed,
To get to give my heart this needed rest,
But you can't put to sleep what never woke up.
There is no emotion in my eyes.
As I watch the world as it passes me by,
Alone on the sidelines while everyone else plays.
I'm dead inside.
Not because my heart is broken or tossed aside,
Because It will never be used.
