you're sitting on your couch waiting for the ellen degeneres Show to come off commercial break because you know you'll see 5 seconds of summer. each commercial goes by so slowly, but you wait it out. you can't wait to see the boys and hear their voice. you loved them so much, especially luke. when the commercial break ends, ellen announces the boys and they come out. you have your phone out, ready to tweet at anything the boys said.

"so boys, how is the tour? what do you love most about it?" ellen asks,winking at the camera after.

the boys laugh and they look at each other to see who would talk first. calum goes first.

"it's honestly so amazing. i love performing for the fans. it's crazy,"he explained. next was michael.

michael smiles before saying, "i can't believe we've made it this far.sometimes it's so unreal but i love the fans and our new music is going to be amazing."

"yeah, totally. the best part about it is making our fans happy," ashton adds.

"and you, luke?" ellen prods.

"the best part is performing for the fans and being with my lads. they're great," luke says, beaming at the camera. you beam back. you quickly tweet that you're so proud of the boys before locking your phone again.

"so how are you and y/n doing with the distance? i know it's your first time being apart," ellen pondered, leaning forward.

you see luke's smile fade and yours fades, too. he looks down at his lap while michael pats him on the back. you know he misses you so much, he tells you every night over facetime.

"yeah,i miss y/n more than anything," he says sadly, looking anywhere but the camera. you know he had tears in his eyes - as you did - and you couldn't bear to watch anymore. you turn off the t.v. just as ellen asks michael about his hair.

sniffling and quickly wiping the tears from your eyes, unlocking your phone,you see all of your notifications from your last tweet and smile. the fans supported you and luke so much. you started to type another tweet about how much you miss luke, too and quickly posted it. almost instantly, there were many retweets and faves and replies. at 5:02pm, luke calls you to tell you how much he misses you. you tell him you miss him, too.

"i love you, y/n," luke whispers.

"i love you, too. i love you more, luke."
