I sighed as i picked up Amaiya and held her close to me and bounced her as i tried to get her to fall asleep. She had been crying all morning and i can barely get sleep. August is no help either. This supposed to be his daughter too but he dont even answer my calls or texts and he barely comes to see her.
I finally got amaiya to go to sleep. I layed her in her crib and kissed her forehead as i flopped on the bed and relaxed my body. Just as my phone started to vibrate in my pocket. I rolled my eyes and slid it out to see that it was august, i slid my thumb over the accept button and placed the phone to my ear.
Amira: What do you want
August: really Amira? Are you fucking serious when was you gonna tell me.
I heart beat doubled and started to race when i heard how mad he was. I hope hes not talking about what i think he's talking about.
Amira: tell you what , what are you talking about august.
August: stop just stop i already know.... It just now dawned on me that Amaiya is not mine

Amira: yeah she is who else would be the dad-
August: man that baby looks nothing like me and its melvins you thought my moms wasnt going to tell me? I mean out everybody you chose to tell, you chose my moms really Amira and the fact you wasnt going to tell me is low as fuck.
I started to tear up once august finally said the words that i wanted to deny so bad. My voice started to crack and sobs started to slip out.
August: and to make it so bad we were together 2 years and all this time yall been fucking each other behind my back. My brother yo MELVIN thats his child..you was fucking my brot-
Amira: it was one time, it was a accident before me and you were serious
August: it dont even matter... And the killer part is amaiya will never get to know who her real dad is because he's dead kiss my neice good night for me take care Amira.
